Vaxee products are so absurdly expensive if you live outside of the US. To get any of their wireless products into Canada expect to spend $240-260 ($175 usd). Super not worth it, especially considering their abysmal return policy, and the requirement to pay for RMA shipping.
Just a theory, but they might have opted to stick to 4K polling because the problem of wireless interference gets bigger the higher your polling rate is.
I think companies are moving towards stiffer encoders to prevent ghost scrolling for tac fps players. That shit happens once in a gunfight and makes a val/cs player jump and they'll hate the mouse
A cheaper alternative (or perhaps a clone) to this is the VGN VXE R1 or Dragonfly R1 series. Pretty similar form factor, more lightweight from 49-55 grams and cost a fraction of the price. The basic R1 SE model sells for only USD 20 online after currency conversion in my country. R1 SE+ with twice more battery capacity a few dollars more and the Pro series only about 10-20 bucks more. It's crazy how these so-called big brands are selling their mice at cutthroat prices when you can just simply one that works almost exactly the same at a much cheaper MSRP
I own a lot of mice (10-15 at this point), and I've always wanted a wireless FK2. It was the first mouse I felt connected my brain to arm smoothly. This feels like a smaller FK2 wireless; and I really do love it. The quality is very high, the shape fits my hand perfectly. It doesn't have the lightness of my ultralightx, but the shape just does it for me!
what's your hand size? i always wanted a wireless fk2, too. problem is, i am lefthanded and need the right side buttons :D but vaxee will release a lefthand version of the vaxee xe-s, so i am waiting. kinda hyped. i hope it's not too small. i still want to claw comfortably it and not switch to finger tip.
I don't know about the XES but, every Vaxee I have shows battery by pressing right click and scroll button at the same time. The lights on the top show you where it's at. If they are both solid it's full or basically full. If just the front is solid you still have plenty. If just the back is solid I think it's like 30% at most and you might want to consider charging it. The XE might use the extra button for this as it would make sense. Pretty sure I got this from the manual and those are the charging lights. So not exactly rocket surgery
I believe right click with scroll wheel click shows a battery range light indicator where the light are when you charge the mouse those two light dots.
I have to say. Most mouse coatings are terrible for me. I have very dry hands so every coating feels slippery for me besides the Viper V3 Pro. Although it's not my favorite shape. Not saying it's a bad shape, it's super usable for me. I wish more companies would use razers actual rubberized coating. Or make glossy mice again. Glossy mice are oddly super grippy for me...
You can easily fix the switch grinding by lifting up the click paddles, applying a THIN layer of 205g0, rehook the paddles, and then press them down and side-to-side and sort-of force them to grind down/slightly bind with the lube. Did this to my NP01 wireless and there are no more signs of click grinding in any way whatsoever.
@@boardzyAll of their mice before this new XE-S used zowie-style plastic posts to click on the switches which would cause plastic-on-plastic grinding if you didn’t modify them in any way. The XE-S now uses traditional mylar pads that every other company besides Zowie and Vaxee used, as well as putting in small foam pads to somewhat dampen the upstroke of the click
Hey bro, VAXEE with competitive firmware is the best motion latency mouse I've ever used, even better than Razer 8kHz at 1kHz, why are the rtings and other latency tests inconsistent with my actual feelings?🥺
another htx user here its so rare to have a lighter weight mouse with a reprogrammable dpi button on the top how is the xe-s compared to htx and what other mouse do you guys recommend?
I'm very off topic here but i have super small hands like 16.5 by like 6 or 7 and i use the xtrfy zy's rail with the lowered hump and I've used it for around 2 months now with my grip style changing a lot and I'm currently using a relaxed claw grip but im really just wondering if there even is anything better out there on the market for me.

Is the side wobble on the main buttons noticeable less compared to the regular XE? It was my main issue since I play some games where you have to press and hold mouse two for movement, the regular XE felt unstable or "cheap" because of the very noticeable side to side wobble :(
@@scotterpop2 I would hope so. That's how most DPI buttons are. I currently have a Glorious Series One Pro and I bind my DPI button to Q in Apex Legends.

They’re still expensive for me even in the US
Yeah that is insane, idk why they dont work with retailers
where do you live? i get them for reasonable price to the middle east
Most peripherals are hella expensive in Canada tho
That's what you get for your free health care Canadians!

this is an issue that i rarely see people talk about but its mostly why i opt for vaxee mice lol
This shit just happened during a VCT game😹

I have the NP-01s and absolutely love that shape, wonder if this shape is close enough to 01S to replace. What is your hand size?
Just wait for the updated np01s later this year
Way different. This one doesn't even have back hump. You can check comparison from their site.
He literally said it in the video, 21by11.
Thank you 🙏
It was worth it but it took 2 weeks for me to be good as with np01. 19x11 hand size
VXE R1 Pro is my endgame mouse. There's nothing quite like it when it comes to specs and price.
what shape is that mouse like?
@@chrispember172 It's pretty much exactly like Pulsar X2 or Endgame OP1
@@Remu- those mouse are very different shape wise sir
@@chrispember172 Those were the closest I could find. In fact I believe VXE is making the shell's for Pulsar.
If it had a rear hump I'd check it. Current size and shape does seem like it's for baby hands.
All of their wireless mice use ALPS encoders btw
Thank god
Can the button under the scroll wheel be bound, or does it do nothing?
Is the horrible switch grinding on Vaxee Mice fixed with this one ?
I havent experienced it and they mentioned a button design revamp, but didnt specifically say that was eliminated

have you seen the ATK Blazing Sky F1 ultimate?
I got scammed ordering one on Ali. Had to open a case and have Ali refund me.
iirc logitech uses optical wheels for some of their mice (specifically the ones with free scroll like the g502)

I love vaxee mice but!
Too expensive.
No extra set of mouseskates included.
Return policy is horrible
How do you like the plastix skates? I find that they are way better than the obsidian pros
Now we need original sized vaxee xe with 65-67g weight
got distracted watching the viper v3pro red dot
missed opportunity to make it a real fk2 clone :( it's not long enough to claw it comfortably
I found the shape of the vaxee xe-s just insane like it's close to the G-wolves HTX but look better I'm so excited to try this mouse
Coming from a HTX as well and shared the same sentiment with the XE-S shape.

yes

this is the only mouse i would replace my og fk2 with
even though this is a small mouse, does it still feel stable like the OG XE? I loved the stability of the XE but it feels a bit too restrictive
Not as stable since the shape just isnt as bulky or filling. But for people with smaller hands it might be a nice middle point
