    Dave Tipper is the Chopin, Bach, Amadeus of the 21st century. His work will vibrate through the spaces of time and improve the well-being of generations to come.

      Also Shpongle, it's hard for me to understand how people like Dave Tipper and Simon Posford aren't recognized for their genius. The innovation and creativity they bring to their work is so far beyond what other electronic composers or even a majority of good artists are doing today. Along with them I'd throw in Bjork and Radiohead as some of the people who have single-handedly changed the art form of music for the better.

      +James VanSteel It's almost like having sex. The sound design is beyond words. I don't think I can come to describe how unbelievable this song is

      +DeInfamousMan I have a theory about this song in particular. This song is a phenomenological exploration of stringed acoustics - like the physical and psychological mechanisms of making sound and music with vibrating strings and surfaces. That goes from violins to pianos to guitars to percussion to human voices (vocal cords) and synths. He's tightening and stretching those vibrations to the point that they can blend into each other and showing listeners that all the diverse sounds and musical notes we hear from any source are really just vibrations that our mind interprets differently. Or he could just be making dope tracks cus he can, either one.

      +Deemsterz It's so cool to see praise for Tipper! I first discovered him on Pandora like 8years ago and listened to Surrounded a lot. Then I didn't even notice Broken Soul Jamboree until a couple years after it came out, but I thought it sounded extremely refined and finished. This album is just as good! He's excellent at what he does and pretty damn original

    Not too long ago I stumbled across a brilliant artist calling himself Ochre, and have been on the lookout for something similarly creative and inspiring. Tipper most definately matches that, and gives Ochre a run for his money. I love this stuff! It's incredible!

      Nope there's nothing definte about that at all. Not everyone needs drugs to expand their mind and be creative. Personally I find that drugs hinder my ability to be creative. They turn me into a consumer rather that a creator.

    • @Lo0nex_
      @Lo0nex_ 7 лет назад +6

      psychedelics turn you into a consumer?

    • @colinkraft7837
      @colinkraft7837 7 лет назад +4

      You don't think Dave's music is even remotely inspired by psychedelics? I don't know if the "drugs" you're talking about are the same drugs this comment is referencing.. I mean he has a song called "Spunion" for god's sake. Psychedelics most definitely do NOT turn you into a consumer, most people have quite the opposite reaction. I would recommend you try some high quality psych's but you seem a little too close-minded.

    • @Jonny11299
      @Jonny11299 6 лет назад +4

      I would hardly call TheTwosliceToaster close-minded. Based on his comment, you can infer that he's tried drugs before. Didn't even say he disliked them. I actually agree with his comment. I'm not denying that drugs help some people become more creative, but you can be a skilled creative without ever using drugs. I've been producing music for several years and in the past couple months I've tried psychedelics for the first time. It was a completely new experience listening to music in that state, and I've certainly taken some musical knowledge back from that land, but trying to actually create music in that state was nearly impossible for me. There were too many patterns to try to capture all at once. My brain was all over the place, and I couldn't get any work done. For me, I'm best at producing when I'm sober, hands down. Although I will admit I'm better at drawing and coloring when I'm tripping.
      Some people's brains work differently. Just because drugs help one person be creative and TheTwosliceToaster has a different experience with them, doesn't mean he's close-minded, or that he's doing them "the wrong way." All of us experience the world in a unique way; what works for you isn't necessarily the case for everyone.

    Does anyone else feel that this is a terribly sad song? The name says it all, in combination with the story that the sounds tell. Very very sad, as it illustrates the cheapness and relish of the present culture. "Gutter people" comes to mind. Waste, garbage, addiction - hopelessness. A little lullaby rift, letting you know that it's OK, it will all be alright.. Depressing because it IS today.. it is our life.. This song brings tears to me. It is beautiful. It is the truth.
