Wow can't believe someone left a camera on the 15th fairway to film Dan driving up to his ball.😂 Great video would love to see Bernie to do this especially with his short game demons
Great teaching video Dan, Loved listening to the pre-shot chip around the greens, I am usually in those positions and can use this. Really liked watching your feet and shoulder alignment for both the approach shots and chip shots and how you cut across the ball out of the rough to maximize spin.
Very honest & interesting vlog Dan. I play early on Saturday mornings & am already noticing that the ball does not fly as far this time of year. Soft ground also reduces the run. Keep up the good work
I like the format Dan. Maybe you could give a point for chips to within 3-6 ft (up & downs) and for us high handicappers a point for 2 puts outside 6 ft. Just trying to match it to shot scope stats. I might try this with the mates on our next practice round and see who scores the most points.😊
Great vlog Dan. Really useful insight into plotting your way around and valuable to all levels of golfers at any time of the year. I think if you had just played the ball from where it landed, par at worst, but more likely a couple under. Good stuff. Evening Kev.
Interesting idea & something there for everyone! Winter golf for me is the clubs being in hibernation, with potentially a trip to the driving range in the temperature lifts -
Hi Mate, hope youre well, these videos are the way forward as course vlogs seem to have died a death with you, winter kills golf as well, i always try to play through the winter but the UK is just not a country for year round golf, we only get 4/5 months of proper golf weather, the rest of theyear is ridiculous!!
That was great, learned a lot from that. I do not hit so many fairways and greens, but thinking about how aggressive one has to play and where to miss a green will be part of my next round...
That's a good fun game Dan. A few more fun ideas for you, either on course or winter simulator (Dan's brother too). Can you score sufficient to be a Cat1 golfer using no more than 8 clubs including putter? With distance being so important these days, how short off the tee can you be and still play to scratch? Have a nice trip away this week in the sunshine ☀️🌞
does anyone ever go out on their course to play a practice like this? most golfers go and play a competition or in a group so would never do this sort of thing.
Love these types of course management videos. Well done Dan.
This is where you come into your own Dan. Nobody else does this quite so well. 👌🏼
Great game dan
More quality content.
Excellent challenge DH , I’m gonna try it myself at Cowdray , will definitely make you think more about shot selection and outcomes.
Really interesting format Dan. Great way to focus on course management & strategy.
getting really close to that 50k .. Go Dan! :) You deserve far more subs than 50k
Great video Dan. Fascinating insight and very instructive to “hear” the thought process. Brilliant.
Grrat game
Last chip was fantastic
Really good vid Dan, enjoyed that. Nice to hear your thoughts about how you will play the hole taking your little side game into account
Good vlog Dan. Interesting to look at the game over winter. 👍

Thanks Dan. Will definitely give this a go. Great way to make you really concentrate on what you are doing and why plus great for short game.

Love the format of this video.. very creative
Couldn't agree with you more Dan, re Winter golf, I went up a club on all my irons last weekend and it worked a treat.
Enjoy Portugal 🇵🇹
Very useful DH
Great stuff Dan

Interesting vid, does make you think differently.

Well that was interesting. Higher handicap players might have to adjust completely to a new way of playing, tough, but educational
Hello from Lakeland Dan. Winter golf is not as bad here. Good golf as usual. Thanks.

Hopefully if we play tomorrow. I will suggest playing this in our 4 ball.

Hi Dan, great idea for winter training, like this! Did I miss a video where you switched to the spider and dropped Scotty?

Evening all
great content as usual Dan. What's with the spider putter, where is the scotty cameron?
Back in the bag Tony 👍
Dropping from waist height comes in for 2025? Morning in winter club up Phil Mickleson. Didn’t think I would like this video, but well done, nice golf
2 under easy!
1 hole in can I change 😮
I don’t understand why Churston GC wouldn’t plant more hedge/trees along their boundaries to hide the traffic/roads & decrease the vehicle noise ?!
You talking about 18th?

Disappointed you didn't show replacing divots on fairways. Also members are asked not to take buggies on fairways this time of year..10.08
