Hello World, how are you doing?
In today’s video we will be unboxing the new X55 from Powkiddy a budget handheld with a large screen and take a look at the performance with emulation on the x55. I have been looking forward to this one as I am a huge fan of a larger screen and like some of my subs we are still waiting for a top 7 inch handheld to enjoy our retro gaming…could the x55 do, till we get that 7inch handheld? Let’s unbox the x55 and find out!

Nice looking handheld.
I have this and the 5.5" screen really makes a difference. The only thing is the HDMI doesn't work. I also like that it's not overly heavy for it's size. Psp games that come with it run mostly fine.
Everything that runs great on rk3566 chipset should work the same on this console, next another advantage of powkiddy, that comparing with Anbernic there is a little bit faster ram, screen brightness can be calibrated on jelos, overall great device for it's price, and great review as always, thank you SonicLove!! ❤❤❤
I absolutely love clicky buttons it gives me great satisfaction not sure why but it does 🙏🏽reminds me of a fidget toy 🙏🏽ok I just bought this bad boy today 🙏🏽

Just got my Black X55 this week and it's totally awesome! I previously got the Pure Black Max 2. I placed both handhelds beside each other and the Black X55 is practically a larger, upgraded Max 2. These two both look alike except the X55 has a slightly larger display and it's D-Pad is below rather than above. The X55 also has some nice sounding dual speakers while the Max 2 has only a single speaker that sounds great as well. No one mentioned that the new JELOS I updated my X55 to also has a video media player! I immediately flashed a new Sandisk 32GB micro sd with the latest version of JELOS as soon as I got my X55 and also had a new Sandisk 256GB micro sd ready for the games sd slot. Display looks nice and vibrant as well. I actually considered getting either a Trimui Smart Pro or an RP3 Plus before deciding to get the X55. I've been on the fence about purchasing an X55 every since the X55 launched. Glad I finally got myself one!
The RK3566 is not a very powerful Chipset. Pairing it with this Screen gives us a loss in performance. Powkiddy should have ran with a A311D2 or a S922X.

I also prefer larger displays when it comes to these retro handhelds. I like that fact that the 5.5 inch display is the same size as that of the Nintendo Switch Lite. Going to hold off on purchasing this one as well as any other handheld. Still curious as to what the Max 3, Max 3 Pro, Trimui Smart Pro and Brick is like. No hurry since I still have my PowKiddy X17 with Reset Collection and my Steam Deck with Batocera on the sd card.

PowKiddy, I hope you are reading this. Please make us a 7 inch display version of your X55 handheld!
Just bought one for £67, I'm waiting for it to arrive, lets see how it compare to my RG503, I to like a large screen and this looks good.
I'd like to see a side by side comparison video with the X55 and X28.
