I just love Max Spohn guitars. He is a very creative luthier with his own distinctive look. Mostly his guitars aways sound incredible. This Fiddleback Mahogany sounds wide open and balanced. The guitars seems to give the fantastic mid-range Mahogany is known for but it also sparkles in the trebles. Fantastic!
    Thanks, John

Mid-size spruce/mahogany guitars are my favorite and this one is no exception! Such a beautiful tone and wonderful playing from Carl as always. Thanks for the demo!

Wow! What an awesome sound from that guitar. Clear and resonant tone with wonderful sustain. Nice playing as usual Carl.

I think meeting The North American Guitar was like eating at a three Michelin star restaurant with chef Carl in the kitchen, now playing my guitars at home doesn't stand up to any comparison!

Is Carl an employee there? Or do they just pay him handsomely? His relationship with the company must be pretty solid. Just interested. It would be cool if he gets good discount on guitars or something & I’m interested what he plays!

I've wondered the same thing. I beg he gets paid some to demo each guitar, or maybe gets a small % off each sale, or both? Who knows. I just love how Carl typically isn't playing anything super complicated, but it sounds absolutely brilliant. He's not doing super complex Andy McKee type stuff, yet it sounds just as good. Carl is a beast, one of the best guitar players alive IMO
