For what it is worth, Blitz was defending Moxie. They were basically saying Moxie is sexually inept and Blitz defended him with the equivalent of "Yeah they're vanilla as hell but they get the job done!"
Blitz knew if he outed himself the attention would shift from Moxie to him because of his history with Fizz.
On a side notw, yes, Moxie was in the wrong for singing. They were in a sex club Matthew. A fancy sex club, but a sex club. Moxie went to a place that is ALL about lust and sung a LOVE song, it kills the mood because most people aren't there for that. Ozzie was relatively nice because he explained the issue with what Moxie was doing, gave him another chance, and when when Millie literally stomped Fizz into the ground Oz still let them finish their bit before simply telling them they had to leave. He could have summoned security on them, since they got violent.

Thank you! I almost yelled at ny TV when he said Blitz was making fun of Moxie. Blitz is do emotionally damaged he doesn't really think stuff like compliments out. Hell he had to be drugged up in the last episode just to open up a bit to Moxie.
And you guys are off about how Ozzie and Fizz reacted. I know many probably haven't watched later episodes but when you learn more about them in the next few episodes, you see what they did in a different light. Also it's Hell: Violence kinda goes hand in hand for creatures from the Wrath ring. Also Ozzie is a Deadly Sin. He doesn't need security to get them out.

The imps actually aren't immortal, though Stolas is, Blitzo and Stolas are in their 30s with Millie and Moxxie being a few years younger.
There is 1 more episode in Season 1, Episode 8 was released in middle of Season 2 due to a legal issue with one of the cast members and their former manager holding rights to all of their work
(they were hoping to have the member actually sing but as it was starting to seem it will be years before this could work, they wrapped it up and released it after a few months with a different person doing the song)

You may have forgotten(a lot of people seem to), but stolas did seem to treat blitz and nothing but a plaything or a piece of meat in the beginning. Remember all of loo loo land? Stolas spent the whole night flirting with blitz and blitz made it obvious he "didn't like it"
The person who voices Ozzy, is also Zestial in Hazbin Hotel. As well as Vortex the hellhound from Spring Broken.
This episode hurts. Stolas was so excited for the date only for Blitz to be using him and Blitz's reaction to Ozzie and Fizz when Stolas hid behind the menu was painful. House of Asmodeus slaps though

Stolas calling Blitzø "his impish little plaything" in the last ep prolly adds up to Blitzø thinking that Stolas just wants a sexual relationship and not a serious one.
This is the one argument y'all always repeat brooooo as if stolas hasnt tried to hang with him and verbalized how happy he is about spending time with him outside of the bed
I've changed my mind àbout that recently, because Ive realized Blitz calls Stolas things like bird puss and hole multiple times and not to mention he seduced him for the book, so yeah they are both idiots but Blitz definitely had ulterior motives

@@harreth62 Oh no, blitzo sucks ass do not get me wrong. He is in no way innocent, but people act like stolas IS innocent. All throughout season one stolas had reminded blitzo of how little he meant to him, calling him pet names that he was EXPLICITLY told not to use, calling him a plaything right before ozzies and downplaying any kind of negative response blitzo would have to these demeaning actions. Stolas didn't realize what he was doing was hurting blitzo but just "I didn't know" doesn't make blitzos doubts invalid. After apology tour I just really kept staring at my screen dumbfoundedly at how wrong stolas was in everything he said.
I want to explain Stolas's position.
Stolas, in name and general concept, is pulled from the book the Ars Goetia, which outlines (i believe) 78 of the most powerful beings in hell. These demons are given labels, such as Duke, King, Prince, Marquise, etc, based on their powers. Within the universe of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, these royalty are essentially middle management. At the bottom are Hellhounds, followed by imps. Then there are the general hellborn AKA the sharks, fish, succubus/incubus like Verosika, and other demons like that. Above them are the Goetia. Then we can consider the 7 deadly sins to be the brance executives (with each one holding dominion over a ring of hell), and Lucifer the founder (being the overarching ruler)
You forgot Overlords and Sinners. They rank above regular hellborn demons but below the Goetia.
I'm sure someone has said it allredy, but we (the audience) actually knew about blitzø's sibling (sister). I believe the first time she is mentioned is all the way back in episode 3, when Verosica makes a joke about her still being in rehab and unable to bribe her way out like Verosica seemingly did. (Note this is meant simply as a reminder I know he takes time in between watching episodes, and a one-off line from 4 episodes ago is easy to forget or miss entirely.)

I think that most of Matthew's confusion comes from reacting to the songs before watching the episodes because he gets spoilers through the songs that make watching the episodes confusing

season 1 episode 7 was originally called "finale part 1", but for reasons episode 8 got delayed till AFTER season 2 got released (which resulted in "finale part 2" being called "queen bee", and "finale part 1" being just changed to "finale")
Asmodeus is one of the 7 sins, specifically Lust (for context, Lucifer himself from Hazbin Hotel is recognised as sin of pride, however as the ruler of hell itself he and his family are higher up on the power ladder, and EVERY sin is higher up on the power ladder than the Goetia [Stolas's family] and Goetia are stronger than overlords)
Ep8 got delayed because of Kesha's producer claiming "Cotton Candy" and all that legal nonsense dispite the fact she didn't even sing it.

@@DeadlyPL"Legal reasons" that were also explained is 100% a legitimate reason to not release it considering they could have gotten sued and then no season 2 and/or Hazbin Hotel, episode 8 was not critical to the plot of season 2 (so far) so there was no negative beyond a delay.
9:12 Charlie Morningstar is *THE* princess of hell, well Stolas is *A* prince of the Goetia so both are royals but separate groups.
Charlie is only below her parents in the power structure of hell and is even above the seven Sins like Ozzie, well Stolas is one of many princes in the Goetia which makes him middle management of middle management in hell.

9:03 He isn't Lucifers kid. He come's from the royal family of Goetia and it's also theorised that Stolaz's father who we see in season the 2 episode 1 is also a fallen angel. (Actually it has been later confirmed that this theory is wrong, but it is still really interesting one.)
Also the "embodiment of lust" mean's that he is one of the hell's seven sins whitch are: Lucifer(Pride), Beelzebub(gluttony), Satan(Wrath), Leviatan(Envy), Mammon(Greed), Asmodeus(Lust) and Belphegor(Sloth).
We have now seen only 4 of them during now but we will probably see last three during the next coming episode of season 2 named: "Master mind"

Just for perspective, Moxxie singing a purely love song in Ozzy's would be like going to a S&M club and preaching about the purity of hetero missionary sex.
And yes, Stolas is a Demon Prince. He's a member of the Goeta class, which are 4th in line in terms of power. The Sins (we meet 5 up to date, 4 in HB and Lucifer) are above them. Charlie and Lilith are 2nd. And Lucifer is the most powerful being shown so far in both shows

Blitzø was DEFENDING Moxxie, and he wanted to go because Stolas felt ASHAMED to be with him, hiding his face after the accusation. And NO, Stolas does not shows that he wants a real relationship with Blitzø (not asking for dates or anything). In the end, even being hurt for how everything happened, Blitzø still apologizes to Stolas, I don't know exactly if it was for not being in the mood, for made him feel ashamed, or both (it definitely wasn't for lying about the date tho). Blitzø is an asshole, but Moxxie, Millie, and Loona, are everything to him, and Stolas isn't a poor victim, he's also in the wrong for putting Blitzø in a relationship were he's treated without respect and like a toy
THANKS, was looking for someone to point out that Stolas isn't innocent. Many if not most fans forget that. Really hope Viv makes Stolas realize that too, she did mention that Stolas isn't self-aware yet in the apology tour episode.

So some clarification of the ranks of Hell. Hell is divided into seven rings, each devoted to one of the Deadly sins and ruled over by a demon embodying that sin. These Sin demons are the kings/queens of their respective layers with Lucifer, the king and sin of Pride, and his family ruling over Hell itself as well. The Ars Goetia, Stolas' species of demon, are demon nobility with Stolas specifically ranked as a prince, though not directly related to any of the sins. Imps are at the bottom of the hierarchy so a noble dating one is seen as scandalous and shameful. Stolas doesn't care normally but couldn't do anything about it as Asmodeus is his superior.
Iirc, the Sins are generally considered princes, not kings, for example Asmodeus would be the Prince/Sin of Lust and a king of the Ars Goetia.

stolas is another form of nobility, you know how in the medieval ages there's the royal family (lucifer's family in this case) then there's the high lords and ladies (stolas in this case). hell functions in a similar manner (and I guess the seven deadly sins would be like lucifer's high councilers)

you still have episode 8 of season 1 to watch it's called queen bee! asmodeous is voiced (speaking/singing) by James Monroe igleheart ( he also voices tex in the show) in hazbin hotel he voices the bar patron in thee pilot and voices (speaking/singing) the overlord zestrial in hazbin hotel he also voices lance in the tangled series. blitz and stolas are not in the same class- stolas is a godetia which is one of the groups of royalty in hell and blitz is an imp which is the lowest class in hell for wellborn- it's not just that they are dating outside of bracket which is unheard of/ frowned upon bit there is also a huge power imbalance in their relationship which deeply affects it in multiple ways. blots has a lot of trauma that effects his relationship with stoles but also their relationship started out as business arrangement he doesn't think stools truly likes him because of how the relationship started. when you watch the show from the beginning to where blitz and stoles are currently now in season 2 you understand why blitz is the way that he is and stools isn't perfect either he has made mistakes in their relationship too and has contributed to why their relationship is where it is currently- they both played a part.

This isn’t actually the s1 finale, the next episode is. It got delayed for legal stuff regarding kesha and was released after s2 started but its S1E8
To put Moxie's act in another light; imagine being invited to a funeral and being asked to go up and say a few words, but when you go up you just talk about the stray cat you saw on the way there. There was an expectation to match the mood of the environment (sombre ->funeral / horny -> sex club).
And Asmodeus isn't against "lovey dovey" stuff he just has an image to uphold as the "embodiment of lust" it is his club after all

You have to remember that Stolas has never expressed wanting more than a sexual relationship TO Blitz. All his "I love you" talk is either said only to himself or in a way that can come off as in the moment high emotions or role play. That and Blitz is so dense with self hatred that he literally can not see how anyone would genuinely want him for him
Deadly Sins and apparently Ars Goetia were originally fallen angels, so same as Lucifer except Luci was there first which makes him a king of hell.. so they all are royalty

Osmodeus is the embodiment of the Sin of Lust. All 7 Deadly Sins have their own Ring in Hell and embodiment.
Ozzy’s is a lust club (fitting for the Prince of lust) and they don’t allow romance or love, so the song mox was singing was to wholesome and affectionate, what they wanted was to hear more about sex as that is why people come to that club specifically because it is nothing but lust. Also Ozzy not immediately kicking mox out for breaking the club’s (probably only) rule and giving him ideas to turn it around to fit better so that the small imp can still preform is honestly a nice gesture of him, Ozz could have just said he was done and to beat it but he let mox have another go only kicking them out after Millie hits Fizz who is Ozz’s “business” partner.
Moxxie and Millie are actually fairly young by Imp Standards. Hellborne like Imps are similar to humanesque denizens of hell, they age, reproduce and die and live struggling and hating their jobs in a society that looks down on them. They can also crossbreed with other Hellborne races. If you look carefully in the backgrounds, you'll seen Envy/Imp hybrids, succubi imp hybrids and even some Hellhound/Imp hybrids which. Best not to examine too closely.
i think because it’s been a while since youve seen a lot of the episodes, it’s easy to forget that 90% of the time, at least before this episode, stolas usually came off too strong on blitz. talking dirty & flirting with him in public when blitz isn’t comfortable with it, calling him a little imp or impish plaything. STILL i agree that blitz doesnt need to be so cold toward stolas, but in blitz’s perspective, it’s a coping mechanism & a way to protect himself 😅

@@gamerbear84Blits adopted Loona in 17. Plus 5 year appointment for hospital (season 2 episode 4) - Loona is 22. Millie is 5 year older, so she is 27. Moxxie might be older than Millie, so he is around 30

Stolas is not related to Lucifer. He is part of the Ars Goetia, a royal demon family that are basically the aristocracy of the hellborn demons (the demons that are native to Hell). Each of the Ars Goetia have certain roles necessary for the rule of Hell and they even have a king of their own... who is Stolas' father. That's why Stolas is considered as being a prince... because he is one.

The imps are not immortal beings, they’re just like humans, just in hell. Sinners are “immortal” in hell, but imps die just like humans on earth, except they don’t have an afterlife.

There are way more Royals in Hell than just Lucifer and his family (and also not all Demons are automatically immortal, eternal beings), the hierarchy goes like this:
Lucifer (King of Hell and Ruler/Sin of Pride)
Lilith and Charlie (Queen and Princess of Hell)
The other 6 Deadly Sins (Rulers/Kings/Queens of their respective Ring/Sin, for example: Asmodeus aka Ozzie is the King of Lust; they are also practically immortal and ageless, similar to Lucifer)
The Ars Goetia (considered Demon Prince's, this includes Stolas and his family, or at least Octavia since Stella seems to have married into the name, not entirely sure how the Ars Goetia family works tbh, but they also seem to be immortal in some form, though they do age or at least grow up)
---*(everything above this line is considered some kind of Royal)*---
Overlords (Sinners who've amassed a great deal of souls/power)
Sinners (human souls who've gone to Hell, they are immortal in the sense that they don't age and will always heal/revive/respawn unless they're killed with holy weapons)
Hellborn Demons such as Succubi, etc (this includes Verosika, Hellborn seem to live and age similar to mortal humans and can be killed just as easily)
Imps and Hellhounds (same as other Hellborn, just socially considered the bottom of the food chain so they rank below all other types of Hellborn)
Oh, I wonder if he'll watch the season finale in time-line order or release-date order.
Either way, excited to see how he enjoys the second season.

He was ashamed of being called out for being together with a lowly imp despite his royal status(implicit classism? , and this hurt blitzø's feelings
Stolas may not have realized that Asmodeus might be there because the place is named after his nickname Ozzie which is spelt completely differently.

Stolas is indeed a prince but not a direct descendant of Lucifer. He's royalty, as are the entire Goetia family but they're a different family than the Morningstar family

There's another episode in Season 1; Episode 8 - Queen Bee. It was delayed due to legal BS. Also, without spoiling anything, liking Fizz is perfectly fine. There's a LOT of character development for most of the cast in season 2.

I've seen different depictions of him. He has a statue in the Rennes-le-Château that depicts him as a classical demon. Though the Ars Goetia, a part of the Lesser Key on Solomon that forms the basis for some of the noble demons in this show, as well as the Dictionnaire Infernal portray him with the body of a man, three heads, a serpent tail and the legs of a rooster. Of the three heads, one is a man breathing fire, one is a bull and the last one may change between a sheep or a ram or goat depending on the source. Hence his two faces next to his main face.
According to the abrahamic lore, Asmodeus is a demon king with 72 legions under his command who helped in the construction of the Temple of Solomon and is the arch-enemy of the angel Raphael as well as the primary antagonist in the Book of Tobit. Together with Lilith, he is the go-to representation of the Sin of Lust. He is also listed in the Dictionnaire Infernal as a member of Beelzebub's Order of the Fly, a group of high ranking demons hand-picked by Beelzebub to help him run Hell, where he is part of the Secret Expenses-division with the position of superintendent of gambling houses.
In the Testament of Solomon, he says that he is the son of a human mother and angel father.
Lastly, while it is probably not of any relevance for this version, some texts depict him as the husband of Lilith.

the only reason ozzie was being rude was becuase hes the ebodiment of lust and has an image to maintain, normally he would like moxies song but he sang it in his club in public while he was in presence so he had a duty to act that way, as or stolas he was kind of just caught in the crossfire but i think in private ozzie and stolas get along fine as their both bird based demons

I think blitz was overwhelmed because he tried to defend moxie (in his own way), then was immediately shamed for being a bad lover, and shamed again for being there with Stolas. The attention was on Stolas at that point but man, really having it nailed home that someone should feel bad for being in any sort of relationship with you, and seeing them hide behind a menu....yeah he just shut down. Not saying he's not bad in relationships but that would be a lot for anyone....
