This song took lots and lots of work and it will be an essential part of the next Celtic/Gothic focused album. I thought about uploading it as „Epic Music" but I realized that the word epic is not a genre, it is a quality. I feel that the listener is the one who has to decide whether a song is „epic", and not the composer. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. =)

That's why I don't like being in deep water. Or worse, dark, deep water. I believe monsters live there that can harm you. #1 - sharks, etc. Humans, I believe would do well to see in the dark, like cats. Not to say our Creator made a mistake. We feel an instant insecurity if we cannot see what is near us. Part of survival instincts. Both big cats and sharks will stalk you as soon as your back is turned. We can only face what we can see. It's a disadvantage in certain circumstances. Our other senses can help if strengthened. Sometimes as in the animal kingdom, it is a prey or predator world, although I'd rather keep that button turned off unless needed. Just some thoughts. 🐱🐾

Skyrim brought me here. I've got an excellent music overhaul mod called Songs of the Nord that has this and few others in it. This one plays inside of Castle Volkihar. I was so happy the first time I entered. I also have Castle Volkihar Redux, which restores it and turns it into a massive player home. Needless to say, my times have been epic and evil. I listen to a lot of this kind of music lately. ❤ this one!!
When I see the art picture and hear the music with the fast-paced background drums the thought of a darkened, maybe even fallen Batman comes to mind, corrupted by the pain he has suffered, given into the despair he's been experiencing his whole life and transformed into a bat-vampire-like creature as a result of the final confrontation with the true vampire. He transforms into the very creature he was so afraid of and use it now to spread fear in another horrid level and harm criminals as well as innocent people. Transformed into the creature he was never meant to be - Reign of the Darkened Knight!

This song reminds me quite strongly of "The Darkness" videogames and comic books. I can feel the turmoil within Jackie as he strives to use the power granted to him by the demon within for a good cause.

I love this piece of music. Especially as I love the sound of the organ which I grew up hearing my father playing as he is a brilliant musician and as a witch who is mostly nocturnal this music truly resonates with my soul. Adrian von Zeigler your music compositions are truly wonderful!!!

this music in mind has let me to have a fantasy themed genre book scenario in my mind: A deciever with a black heart and a hunger for power reveals herself and swats aside the forces aimed at her. The queen of the land says "Now that you have revealed yourselves, i will take you down myself". She wields her powerful magic to stop the deceiver but is overpowered because the deceiver has silently absorbed the powers she had manipulated.
The queen falls down on the ground, but it was not enough for the deceiving wretch. A second assault of magic was fired against the queen and when the smoke of the assault cleared, the queen was still in one piece but she couldn't defend herself anymore. her strength was spend and her body had a nasty cut where the the assault was heavily focused. The deceiver was about to finish the job, but her attack was smothered and she was flung into one of the walls.
The queen's friend rested his outstreched arm back and came to the queen her aid. he was about to apply healing to her when he saw the blood flowing from the wound and staining the floor. the deceiver came out of the rubble and gloated about the injuries she brought to the queen " Oh, is the big guy worried about the little women. Don't trouble yourselves with healing her, the only thing she will receive is death." She laughed at the guy but her words couldn't reach him.
He flew into a fury so filled with rage and malice that he grabbed her in a choke hold before dark malicous energy exploded from his core
"you who attacked her will pay" and he changed into being of pure fury to pummel the deceiver and her army into its place
