Can you all do a 2020 Outlander sport because this is nothing like it

That multi-socket (in the existing wiring loom) appears to be a 10 way outlet.
Are all TEN sockets wired, and if they are, then why are you NOT using a (trailer) 7 pin - or a 12 pin plug/socket connection at the tow ball?
Instead of a mere FOUR WIRE connector?

Not all the sockets on the plug have connections. It is only wired with the functions for a 4 Flat wiring harness. Also this is a video for the 4-Flat, If there was a connector for a 7-Way plug, we would've filmed that as well. Check our manufacturers website curtmgf.com and check their wiring options. There is only a 4 Flat option since there is no plug in option for the 7-way connector.

This says the instruction are for a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander...but mine has the spare tire INSIDE the rear compartment area. Does my model, a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SU, have the same quick connect behind the panel on the driver side? I don't want to take everything apart to find this is not the case. As a note, I looked under the hood for a quick connect, but did not see one. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hi Stan, The Outlander Sport uses a different kit than the one in this video. We don't have a video for the Sport yet, but we have one scheduled for this month so we should have it in the next few weeks. Until then you can use uhaulhitches.com to find the right parts for your vehicle.

    4 wire ?
    Ground / tail-lights / Brake-lights / & ?
Or does this useless 4-pin use the drawbar/ball mount as the ground, for a four wire LIVE (brake / tail / left & right turn)
    ?
As - here in NZ all trailers MUST have a seven pin connection - with the ground IN the 7 pin (thus not relying on a possible rusty / intermittent circuit of the tow-hitch as a ground.
Then - there is the AUX and Service brake circuits as well.
    7 circuits.

This may be different in the U.S. than in NZ. In the US, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander has a plug that only adapts to a 4-Flat (the most common trailer wiring connector in the states). If you need to connect everything for a 7-pin connector here's the video to convert a 4-flat to a 7-way connector ruclips.net/video/hqze3Qgz-Ng/видео.html
