God I love hip hop, and have fir most of my life. ♥️ If I had to name MC that I feel never gets the recognition and shine that he absolutely deserves, and is never in a top 5?? Mos Def. That’s crazy. Rip Bob Sagat .
Jada is a very fine example for preserving your own style while still being part of the actual progress in hip hop. gotta respect that. and of course he speaks truth with every sentence. all the heads who love this music for 20,30 years know what he's talking about. all good with the new shit though, keep it moving and stop hating those young rappers for their looks, but you still should know where it's all coming from if you wanna talk the talk.

Sad but true
Capital Steez(everything he ever put out) Joey Bada$$(1999 and B4da$$) J. Cole(born sinner, and forest hills) Kendrick Lamar(Good kind mad city, Tpab) Mick Jenkins(waters, waves) puttin on for the 2010s fam
+sahib singh I don't know of course it's your opinion but not only do I see this list everywhere to me it's overrated. Capital steez was pretty good but I never got into Joey expect for like 4 songs. Same with cole. I only like kedrick from section 80 and only like maytrs from mick jenkings.
For me the new rappers to check out are ninoman, oddisee, and dillon cooper are the ones I think of right now
+Jordan Pighin we all entitled to our own opinion, but you should check out nipsey hussle if you want, he holding shit down out west
sahib singh I love nipsey he just made a song with jadakiss he's dope
Great show. Keep it coming. One of the best shows out.
Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you can't listen to old music, there's something called the Internet to search for it! I'm 15 and all I listen to is 80s and 90s and its because I discovered it all through the Internet!
Responding 5 years later 😆 but I'm 29 and was introduced to rap through CD's and TV and discovered classic rock through GTA vice city.. they both remain my favorite genres and the internet keeps me discovering new and old music to this day.
Yea im only 19 but my mind is old too
Finally someone who names King Tee the great!
Jadakiss always been my favorite.. He has the voice and bars and story. Unfortunately the world don't recognize if you don't sell as much as Eminem, Jayz

When I was 13, and my friend played me Big Daddy Kane’s Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy and I heard it fir the first time, it was our anthem all summer long. 😂 omg we played that album to DEATH. LITERALLY. My boom box by the pool ate her tape. 😂🤣 there were tears. God I love hip hop, and have fir most of my life. ♥️ If I had to name MC that I feel never gets the recognition and shine that he absolutely deserves, and is never in a top 5?? Mos Def. Omg his 3rd album (counting his Blackstar collab with Kweli) The New Danger is one of the greatest hip hop albums ever made IMO opinion. If you’ve never heard it, go, right now, and check that out. It’s epic. That album is absolutely perfect. A masterpiece. That no one ever talks about. Just like how he’s universally ignored and overlooked. Very unjustly overlooked. That’s just MO.
That statue is creepy man.
