Yasuo is extremely simple to start but becomes so skill expressive as you learn the eccentricities of him as a champ. I love the champion in spite of all the flame and cancer people give me for it. Genuinely one of my favorite champs ever.
Yeah. Never understood people calling his skill floor high when it's the skill ceiling that is infinite while his skill floor is pretty low in comparison to champs like Qiyana, LeBlanc, Camille, Jayce, etc. That's also one of the reasons he is so popular and successful. Perfect champ for both otps and noobs. My only problem is his boring visuals/concept but have no complaints for his gameplay, it's great.

Yeah and that's the problem, a champion should have a limit to how much mechanically it can impact a game over others.
Sincerely if they just adjusted that braindead W to something like 1 sec and reduced the hitbox then it would be fair, because that's his only unfair part of his kit. Not fun to invalidate entire kits with it and is so unforgiving that it takes out skill expression from it.

@@beddingfield214 Sorry to inform you but that's pretty much every game for yasuo lmao. Wr isn't everything but in EU masters+ he has a 49% wr as of current patch and 14.8 was 47%. People tend to gank yasuo quite a bite because he has nothing but engage and people hate him. On top of this, yes he can win lane, but later on it's the opposite where he absolutely needs help from his team to do anything. He always needs to have a team centered around him to work well outside of being lucky. Expecting masters players not to gank a yasuo is kinda crazy.
@@MichaelJohnson-wd1le what are you saying? of course yasuos wr is low because its a hard champ and people who arent otps or who never really play him lock yasuo in aswell. if you go on lolaytics euw d2+ he always has a solid wr. its not true that people tend to gank yasuos more often, and no yasuo doesnt need help from his team to do stuff after laning phase, its harder if you dont have a knockup from a mate but thats the difficulty about yasuo and why he has to be otped if you want to perform. him performing without a good comp is not based on luck, its based on skill.

Yasuo might have a constantly increasing winrate per game, but it doesn't mean he deserves to be in the state he is. No one should have to play 200+ games on a champ to be able to match the effectiveness of someone who plays 20 games on a champ.
It's just abusing the passionate yasuo players because they can, because they know it's a dedicated playback.

I love how this turns into a “so this is why you should master him” rather than “so this is a clear balance issue when compared to every other champion in the game which is why we are looking into getting rid of his passive that gifts him with the occasional free damage block or buffing everything else so other champions feel equally as rewarding”.
I wonder if they realize there’s a big portion of the player base that knows this already for years (no one plays league that hasn’t been playing for years) and intentionally avoid abusing him because deep down we know this champion isn’t balanced. There’s a big portion of players that would rather learn every champion in the game before trying to master yasuo to feed their ego because their champion has too many ways to avoid damage that would otherwise put any other character at death’s door.
Their “not enough ppl play to need to balance it” rationale is so mentally ill. Literally no one cares if yasuo gets nerfed to the ground or stops existing. The player base will rise or it could’ve, it’s too late to fix problems that existed from a champions release. Remember the Nidalee Q nerf where they got rid of how it used to increase damage with distance travelled because it was TOXIC GAMEPLAY. Only to release ZOE soon after, made by same clown that designed yasuo. What A Surprise.
I wonder if they’ll ever do research into the phenomenon where ppl don’t want to cheat their way up…oh wait, of course they won’t. They gotta protect their dying player base and make sure not to alienate anyone, cheaters and abusers included 🤡
Isn’t it crazy that whenever anyone watches a yasuo highlight they think “just yasuo things, broken champ” and feel no inclination to try it out themselves? Yet that same thing can happen with every other champion?
