  • This Cold War coin was minted out of metal from a Soviet nuclear missile. Issued as a 'Token of Friendship', the Disarmament Dollar / Rouble was struck in the wake of the 1987 INF treaty, which saw certain nuclear weapons scrapped. Since it's made from part of a weapon of mass destruction, is this the world's most dangerous coin?

It's such a lightweight metal, to signify how little weight such a treaty had in actually. Well if one was to muse a little on the matter.

There's also a similar 1 UAH/1 USD ukrainian coin(1996) made from the titanium alloy from the SS-18 "Satan" missiles. There are white and yellow alloy variants

Could've said it was made of pure lies and that would be more accurate, especially that American version.
