Jesper Kyd was the heart of Assassin's Creed games OST... I want him back
He is simply the father and soul of Assassins Creed-Soundtracks! I hope Ubisoft will bring him back for the next AC.
jesper kyd, patrice desilets, jade raymond are soul Assassins Creex Team
Same. And that same with Hitman games too :/
Luckily for you, he's back!
@@LowKeyDead. It would be interesting to see what he write in Valhalla
Jesus, this captures Assassin's Creed.... Please more music like this in future games
LazerzZ How's it going big fan
You are a true fan sir
True...
well this comment didn't age well did it now ?! lol since you absolutely has 0 interest in the franchise anymore 😂
oh well it was fun at its time while it lasted i guess 😴
Without Jesper Kyd Assassin's Creed has lost its soul
So, weirdly I think all of the Assassin's Creed games have had outstanding soundtracks, some of the best of the respective composer's work. However, Jesper Kyd's work on that series was something truly special, and produced probably my favorite scores of all time. I really feel they should get him back if they want to recapture the spirit of AC. P.S. As a game and media composer just starting out in my career, I would definitely credit Jesper for inspiring my burning love of great game music.
***** Yeah, from the soothing soundtracks in Damascus to the passionate soundtracks in Italy it just isn't the same no matter how great the track in the recent AC Games. Hell did Unity even have great music?
Jesper was the *King* of Ambient music. It sounds like for the Egypt game next year they're pulling out all the stomps, give Jesper as much money as he wants he just needs to make great music to re-energize the AC base.
Yeah, he's probably my favorite composer.
Unity maybe didn't have a truly great soundtrack, but as a big fan of the TV series Fringe (same composer), I definitely enjoyed a well written score that sounded like a fusing of the "Fringe" sound with "Assassin's Creed." I feel the dour story didn't help with the perception of the music.
***** For me Unity sounded pretty silent. Maybe I just wasn't focusing so much on it because it wasn't as appealing as the previous game Black Flag. I think Black Flag is the only AC game that can *compete* with AC2 in both Music *and* Story
I loved him, but i prefer Lorne Balfe.
I still remember back when we could travel, I went on a Mediterranean cruise with my family. We docked at Naples and we took a long bus ride to Rome. I put this track on repeat so I could remember seeing the beautiful Italian countryside as we drove through it. It holds a special place in my heart and hope I'll never forget it.
the memories , the good times , what happened Ubisoft ! WTF happened why AC franchise never felt the same after AC1 and Ezio's trilogy what did you do to one of the best franchises in video games to date what did you do God damn
Corporate greedy happen, assassin creed just money making machine
To be honest, every AC game are great (yea even syndicate) but the onliest mistake was to call those game Assassin's creed after AC ezio history.
Woah, the shivers... Suddenly I'm back in Venice.
i know right? shivering at some points
This song doesn't even play in Venice, noob
oskarpajunen
You mean Monteriggioni
TheManlyVIK
Ikr such a noob
You mean Monteriggioni
Man oh man is this golden!
It's been so long (few months) since I've listened to Leonardo's inventions. The whole soundtrack is just pure gold but this track mainly reminds me of the whole atmosphere the whole game had.
I remember how bad I felt for Ezio having to watch his father and brothers be hanged and having to leave his home town and basically stop using the Auditore name.
I also remember being amazed how the game showed and alternate take on the historical events, kind of a behind the scenes. Y'know the type of "here's what really happened but the history books won't tell" the whole assassin's vs. Templars was so intriguing. I just had to do all of "the truth" puzzles and couldn't wait to do more and learn more about historical figures and those who came before.
Keep in mind this was my first Assassin's Creed game that I played I hadn't really experienced anything like the sorts on the historical stuff.
I was also taken so deep to the game that I actually read the info on people and the buildings and tried to memorize them as best as I could so that I could recognize them in real life and not just refer to them as some buiöding in the game :D
I also felt as part of the assassin's cell unit. I felt like one of them in that sneaky warehouse. May it have been because Desmond didn't show that much character and also because you mainly play as Ezio. I really never got that same feeling with the other games.
After AC3 the modern day story changed to be as first person game. They tried to go there that you'd feel as you were in that world but to me it just never captured as much as AC2 did.
I guess it's time to put the disc back inside the ol' phat ps3 and go relive those memories again (pun intented)
Not only is the soundtrack absolutely phenomenal but then you add in nostalgia and it just gives chills.
I think Jesper Kyd is one of the, if not the best composer out there. Music is such an important aspect of how players will judge a game. This is so greatly done. Ezio, Italy, the music, the story. It all worked.
“ if I just decrypt this move this there ah done! “ not sure exact quote but it was something like that
What makes a great game of Assassin's Creed, without any doubt, in this kind of master pieces.
Emotions are high... Jesper the king the heart of Ezio trilogy. i have no enough words to explain my feelings when i hear the most beautiful soudtracks of the video game. Long life to Ezio to Jesper Kyd
probably the best bgm ever created
A lot of years later and i play Assassin's creed 2 only for feel this, this was the end of My Childhood and is something that marked my soul and my musical taste
best music in any game
I put this on when I was in Florence and everytime I'm in Rome. Magnificent.
Jesper Kyd must work on the next part of Assassin's creed
Assassin’s Creed will be better when Jesper return with his magical music!
thx for this friends!
I've been looking for this kind of mix for an extremely long time, AND IT'S FINALLY HERE! YES!
(Also, I revel in the fact that no one else can say "first" now.)
I love Jesper Kyd's Soundtracks to the Ezio Series, incredibly fitting and atmospheric. Just like Lorne Balfes outstanding work fit's the setting of AC3. Especially in the last Installation of the franchise though the soundtrack department has just failed to provide the quality of these two. Given that they should be able to hire the best composers out there, this is just sad.
Bring back Patrice Desilets!
^ This guy knows!
#MakeACGreatAgain
yeahhh an that girl to they are brain of the Assassins Creed
UBISOFT bring Jesper Kyd back.
sounds good
Feel that? It's that time when Assassin's Creed was actually a great franchise.
Long live the Assassin's Creed franchise. Long live Ubisoft. Long live Jesper Kyd.
The guy in ac syndicate who makes gear for the frye is leonardo 2.0 basicly
i want the original team make the Assassins Creed Back they are brain of the Assassins Creed
AC1 Vibes!
I'm pretty sure I've heard the leitmotif in some part of brotherhood soundtrack, but this sounds great nonetheless.
DAMN THIS, WHERE IS "THE BUREAU"???
Could have blended the two variations a bit better, but still an awesome track.
Assassin's Creed maybe be proprietary to Ubisoft on paper but its actually entirely belongs to Patrice Desileas and the original team that worked on the 1st Assassin's Creed.(Yes , 2 doesnt count because thats when the franchise went mainstream with player customization and stuff).
Artha Pen What's wrong with player customization lol? And the Ezio trilogy is easily better than the first (though I love Altair as well).
I don't like it that much. I feel like there could be more story to a game if devs didn't have to make all those individual pieces of armor that you may or may not use. I prefer longer games than shorter ones. And the 1st game felt more like a story.
assassins creed without jesper kyd is like halo without marty o donnel
