No point using a Torque Wrench if you are going to ignore the click and carry on tightening past that point.

      But yeah sir
Could that Torque Wrench be made for a different engine? is not it just fine to over tighten crank bearings

That crankshaft should not spin that easily, rod bearings easily too much clearance. Won't last long.

None of the 4 cylinders unless you are ready to do a combustion chamber flush every year or 8,000 miles. A Korean mechanic tore into a 2022 Optima with a 2.5L using oil after 9,000 KM. Their 4's are a bad design, the top ring is too close to the top of the piston so it gets sludged and carbon build up from GDI and EGR system. Resulting in oil consumption. I have a Tucson Turbo with 48,000 doing ok right now, but I started doing the intake flush 2 years ago, use only full synthetics, run premium fuel for the detergents. The 2017 Sportage with 68,000 is using a qt. of oil in 320 miles, going into Kia for a professional flush since it has warranties in 2 days. Had I know about this, I'd of got a RDX, MDX, or Rav4 and paid more.

@@lonniebeal6032 Thanks for your time Lonnie. I will either buy a newer Honda or Toyota. No wonder you don't see Korean cars on the road.
