- Windows binding up? Hard to roll up or very slow automatic windows? This could cause the motor that runs your windows to wear out if you don't lubricate your window seals. All you need is Silicone Lubricant with Teflon.

Great, thanks a lot now I won't have to keep doing chin-ups every time I want to roll up my windows by hand!
Glad it helped! 🙌🏼
I thanks brother. I was about to tear the whole door down. WD-40 worked for me since I didn't have that one. You were right about the smell😄
w40. work. good
+Las tundras Sinaloa problem with that is the smell. 👎🏼 This option is odorless. 👍🏼
As simple as that? Dummy here thinking take door apart and WD inside joints....!
WD is greasy and smells bad. Do this instead! 😜
@@troysgarage - Sure thing - thx.
(Apparentlythis isn't an issue, but) be careful with silicone lube. It isn't compatible with a lot of other shop products so you really have to control it. There's no cleaning product that effectively removes it so it tends to spread and eat away at things.
Interesting. I’ve never had this issue. Curious if anyone else has. 🤷🏼♂️
@@troysgarage I trust your experience then, I only used it in a pump factory and all the gaskets were rubber. What I've heard is it dissolves firmer silicones, and that soap and solvents just smear it. I'll have to do a real test sometime. Could be nonsense, if you've never had an issue.
@@johnmartensen4278 silicone spray will definitely eat away at some types of silicone, it's the same reason dildos of different types of silicone shouldn't be stored together lol
