Not lag related but occasionally after every other match of Rivals the game is stuck on the post credits and it automatically give me a loss
It's a mess.

I have great 1gig up internet and when playing online it acts like I am lagging and makes it unplayable... meanwhile my opponet gets free run to goal because I literally am frozen lagging...
Found out what it is... it's my CPU maxing out somehow.. that's right fifa 24 is maxing out a ryzen 7 5800x

I use a Ethernet which gives me like 400mb download, 70mb upload and a decent 120fps monitor plus a ps5. But I still get unnecessary ball lag, slow moving ai players and menu lag. Any tips?

Yes, whenever the servers are delayed your players wont even move and no amount of custom tactics are going to save you.
Fixed it until the update now it’s lagging again, I’ve got a 3k pc this shouldn’t be happening

I was lagging so much in div rivals, was about to win aswell but the game crashes in the last second and my win didn’t even count
rivals unplayable for me always yellow sign , my internet is so strong no problems in other games or streaming

Suddenly the game freezes and when it resumes the players start running at high speed? Is this their problem or is the opponent cheating the system?

I paid 3k+ for my pc and it can't seem to run a game like ea fc... aint no way i bought the ultimate edition just for the game to run like shit.

I faced the same issue after having a great start to ultimate team.
Latest started facing issue about players not being responsive to input command.
I play on laptop with Nvidia 3060 rtx graphics card.
I use controller.
After a lot of rage quits and damaging 1 controller in rage :( i tried something unexpected and it worked
I went into nvidia control panel
And selected integrated graphics as the preferred card for graphics.
And voila
It worked
My players are responsive again and m back to winning ways.
Looks an issue with nvidia control panel
Another thing i tried was to turn of real time scanning in Macafee antivirus.
Will try switching this on again and see if there is any difference.

The player i control gets lagged and continuesly run towards the same direction and can't change the cursor too other players, an opponent can freely play against me, please give me the solution

Clubs for us in Australia is fukd lagging, slow, and heavy. Meanwhile, the other teams are having a field day

I won my first 10 games easy, then all of a sudden every game since is like my players are all 20 stone and my opposition are all 99 rated, i cant make heads or tails of it. Tried resetting my router, still the same. There is 2 different gameplays to this game, one fast and responsive and one god awfully sluggish. Only game mode that is consistent is clubs.

@@yooaab I have given up on seasons for now until they update it. I reckon it's to do with cross play and also the amount of people I play from the middle East or the states, I play a friendly with my online mates and it's quick, respinsive and fun to play..... Even if I lose.

Dude my Fifa 23 runs perfect on ultra, and ea fc laggs in every mode. I dont get it, it's heavy, its laggy, i can bare to play this. Changed to fifa 23 yesterday after melting down in ea fc 24 and it felt like an absolute insane experience. I even thought it was my pc that couldn't run ea 24, but like.. 23 on ultra and cant run ea 24 in low barely well? It makes no sense. What do you think?

Try capping your fps using the Nvidia control panel to 57. It worked for me. Kinda makes no sense but it works

I have problems from FIFA 19, played a lot 19, 20, 23 and 24 Fifa. At first in 19 and 20 - first weeks all was good but then suddenly player started to be slow and dumb. You’ll know that guys. I’ve tried all possible fixes, changed ISP, connecting cables, monitors, settings, routers etc, nothing helped. Played on PS4, even bought Xbox and started team from 0, and again - I had almost 2 months of good play and then again slow and dumb players. Got a pause from that shtty game. I am from Ukraine and played that time in Ukraine, thought it could be some connection problems, because closest EA servers were in Germany and it’s far away. But now I am in Spain, tried 2 ISP, played on Ps5 and PS4. And still the same sht. I play Rivals only in the mornings - it helps a bit. But tried WL this time and lost 11 games from 15, 2 wins only because opponents left match on the beginning. Impossible to play. And I had a good drop, team is 1,2-1,5kk

Yeah same here and I am from the USA. I know the root cause of the problem. It is called “lag compensation” and also “fat man lag”. Lots of good posts about this on Reddit. This game is unplayable for some people.

i dont know if its because of my internet or whatever but any online mode i play except squad battles in ultimate team every other mode has input delay and gameplay is choppy but my specs are way higher than the requirements for the game....any suggestions please??
Game was perfectly fine until a month ago. Literally every online game, champs or rivals constant speed up lag, frozen screens. Genuinely so frustrating
Old gen feels like there’s a slight input delay but then when I go to the current gen version my game just crashes randomly when I’m in game. Close to selling my account

Idk if it actually helps but the game moves much better from me since I actually changed the resolution idk why the fifa basic one was 1280x600 or something like that but my monitor recommends 1980

Can you tell me what to do when i play in division or any thing vs real human the bing is low and its good but when i enter game there's a lot of slow and my player is just standing and i can't change player what to do
the problem is the delay, the game setup the match whit your ping and...the game has a lag compensation system, right. if you got 10ms ping and i have 50ms ping...the game goes to compense my lag with you, so you feel the game more slow, pass with delay and another stuff cause the game want.
My speed internet is 1000 and still lagging hate it can’t even enjoy the game.
Same here: ethernet 1TB but the players are slower than a turtle!

I think its the EA App, I used to experience this type of issue when I was banned but still able to play the games that I bought. When I got unbanned it was smooth again but now with this game Im lagging like shit, i have a ryzen 9 and rtx 4050

I have been playing co op with my friend sometimes. And all our team and players are always so slow and sluggish. And do not follow my instuctions with late tackles and input. Very annoying it's been like this for years now. We call it momentum switch but i think there is more to this. Coz many of our opponents are fast and responsive with no lag?? Non of the older games before fifa 17 at least had this proplem where other team was just kept out of the game. Does changing this playstyles+ setting really fix that main proplem?

Hi guys...I also had these blatant stuttering or trailing images no matter what I set and despite a high end PC and an RTX 3060 from Nvidia. Then I plugged in my other AMD graphics card and lo and behold it runs smoothly...The error is with Nvidia Experience, the problem is causing stutters and lags...I deleted it and put my RTX back in and lo and behold I can now enjoy FIFA smoothly with this too... Settings were before, no matter, I could do what I wanted, now it works :) I recently switched from the PS5 to the PC. Kind regards, I hope it helps you too.

it’s the game. And it’s the same every year on PC with FIFA. For Fifa 22 there was a bug where every time you passed the ball there was like a second long delay every time. Took them a month to fix something as severe as that. God knows how long it will take them to fix this.

Was your players before slow and sluggish and felt heavy? Like slow responsive time and circling in big circles like overweight morons? At least for me it happens almost everytime when playing co op with my friend! Hate it. So changing this setting to off changed all of that really?
