      Your most kind. The system is going to work great. The work has progressed well but with this virus thing it going to be a while before I get out the next video.

    Is that pump running all 4 bottom drains great video

    • @leecalladine
      @leecalladine  4 года назад

      It will be running all the four tanks. It's 17,000 ltr per hour pump. And the pipework will carry a good flow.

    youre going to have all the fun when those gate valves fail in about a year !

    • @leecalladine

      Fortunately they are not critical. Even if they develop a slow leak the water has now where to go. The valves are only there to hold most of the water back whilst each drain is purged separately. I do totally accept that ball valves are superior and would be a better choice but for this job I am happy that they will be adequate. Also in this system there will not be gravel or small stones to get trapped in the seals as often does happen with an outdoor pond. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Hi Lee just subscribed, I will soon be on the plumbing stage of my new pond build, just a quick question on the 4" swept tee up from the valve should it be facing the opposite direction or will it not matter.

    At the moment the shop is closed to the public. But there is someone here everyday looking after the animals. You can reach us on 01159397926 and we can take orders over the phone for collection. Thanks to everyone and stay safe.

      Its on its way. The virus lock down has slowed things up. But the system has been finished and eventually so will the video.

    Probably not a good idea to over the glue when gluing a valve 😂

      I always think they are not going to open up. Tend to leave them in open position lol.
