Thank you so much for sharing your garden and sharing your knowledge with us .I love your home and your graden. They should have your garden in a magazine.
Omg thank youu for the code, I'll definitely have to check that out! I heard many great things about the ufo 3 and I'm already familiar with the tech involved albeit mine just has a heating feature now. I'll definitely be using your code ❤❤❤
You are such a delightful beautiful talented young woman. I came upon older videos that showed what a brave resilient inspirational human being you truly are. I had no idea that you’d been through such an ordeal. You’re such a bright lovely person. I love seeing how you’ve triumphed over adversity. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly. ❤😍🙏🏽🪴
Yes, you can divide your irises. We split ours in early fall. All we did was carefully dig them and pry them loose from the dirt and pull on the rhizomes to separate and make sure you have roots. Then plant them making sure their roots are covered. I put some mulch around the base. This is what we did..and it worked! We had double the irises this past spring 😊
These directions are spot on! Have you ever seen or heard of beautyberry? They are rather nondescript all summer. They have clusters of small pink flowers that turn into clusters of berries starting in late August and September. They are so beautiful. Birds love them. In November, you cut the branches back to about a foot tall. They grow to about 3 to 4 ft tall by the time they are ready to bloom again. They are a favorite in my garden. I have a purple one and a white one😊❤
Irises spread them selves I have a beautiful yellow one from my friend and now I have quite a few a good patch have dark purple and white lavender and purple yellow thought too going to keep looking every year and buying more and more of them . The smell is so sweet and debine
I would wait until your clump increases in size a bit. So you’ll have substantial amount to work with. Otherwise if you only have one small rhizome to plant in a spot, it will probably grow, but you may have to wait a year or two for it to bloom. Don’t crowd them with other plants. Make sure they have plenty of sun. Don’t plant too deep. You obviously know how they like to grow. Full sun, not too wet for this type. (Some of the irises with skinny flowers like wetter conditions) When you do divide them, do it in the fall. Cut the “fan” of strappy leaves down to about 2 or three inches. Don’t burry the rhizomes too deeply. They like the tops of the rhizomes to be slightly exposed.
LOVE all your clothing and jewelry choices! I'm 74 now, and I just keep saying, "I remember that!'" I think it reminds me of something I saw in movies. These videos are soothing to my soul. I'm binge watching as I only discovered your channel about a week ago. Thank you for your time and expertise.
I didn’t want this video to end 😩. I was loving the flowers in the garden, the roses over the gate and your arranging of them. So relaxing to watch and educational. Thanks for such a nice mix up of videos lately. Never a dull or boring minute.
Thank you Selena for always letting us into your beautiful garden. You are truly a true gardener that loves & sees the beauty in everything that blooms in their own time. You get gidy in the newness of spring and summer like I do and am sure others do. Keep doing you! Much love to you, Pete your mom & dad.
Love your garden you need one burgundy 5 sisters or five cluster over the fence 5 shoots out of one stem most beautiful roses bush I ever seen my grandfather gave it too my grandmother as a wedding gift back in the 20s finally seen one this week in Ft. Wayne Indiana put a smile on my face so pretty
Ross stores have great deals on beautiful outdoor cushions. QVC carries Tolani clothes but not a lot. Beautiful video, beautiful colors. I’m not even a girlie-girl or a pink girl but I am the daughter of retired florists so I have the official authority (lol!) to say that you’ve created an oasis of loveliness inside and outside your home.
Hi. You mentioned Tolani is sold on QVC. I went and looked, and I got 2 "as is" dresses for $22 each. I'm wearing one today. I saw a couple of other items, but they aren't available in my size. Thank you for the information. 😊
Thanks for letting us hang out with you. I just love all of the flowers you showed us. That bush you say is an ugly duckling most of the year definitely is a beautiful swan now!!!
Selina I love your dress . It’s lovely on you. The garden is gorgeous and that Eden Rose is stunning on the trellis . The bearded iris is beautiful and yes you can divide them, depending on your zone, divide in autumn . Thank you for taking us on a walk around your garden. I’m wishing I had the space to grow such beautiful flowers. But I do my best with what I have in my little courtyard. Have a blessed day/week.
I absolutely ❤ LOVE ❤ your garden, Selena! I have watched it grow and love what you do every year to it. The fountain is one of my favorite things in your garden! I remember you replacing the older fountain you had too. My Grandma has a beautiful fountain too that I love. Your backyard Oasis is just that…GORGEOUS!! 🌸🌼🐞🌹
Always such a pleasure to see any video from you . We are so used to see Pete that I missed him today ! Your garden is beautiful and I love all of the pink flowers 🌸. Thanks for another great video ! Now let's see some yard sale videos with you and your Mom lol
Beautiful Garden tour I've been a subscriber for many years and I always look forward to your beautiful garden tours every year and re-watch your pervious garden tours for inspiration! that Bearded Iris is stunning! and huge i love white flowers. and the Eden roses always have such a presence on your white fence arbor and the arrangement was stunning! so sweet you put it by your husbands bedside!
Your garden is gorgeous! I love how you share what types of plants and flowers you have! I enjoy your advice for thrifting pretty things and how you create such a lovely home!
The pink roses are gorgeous hanging over the arch! The ones in vase are so big & beautiful! I love the peonies, also beautiful! If love to hear you play & sing, its been quite awhile! You have such A unique & beautiful voice! The dress is gorgeous, looks amazing on you too! The arrangement in the frog vase is stunning! At my home in Tennessee I had tons of Iris's in lavender, yellow, coral and dark purple with a yellow center all around my yard in April-May, after ask all the tulips & Daisies died out. Now its mostly orange & yellow lilies and red & pink roses, and some really deep red roses. The dianthus run wild in fuschia, pink, red and a deep red. But the Iris's were the most amazing this year! They've been there for so long and spread.. Around the really long porch, the oak trees and the fence along the bank by the road, we're up on a hill. The blooms weren't that large tho! But we're going to be moving to Tampa FL so hopefully next year I'll get to learn about tropical flowers!😊 I remembered the video of you digging up those bulbs! My Iris's were on the property when we moved there so I'm not sure about splitting them! I would research that! I have a smaller gathering basket i use to gather mine to bring in. But I have to go down the hill & back up so i have to use the basket or I'll probably drop them😄 When i lived in NC, i had 2 really large rose bushes that covered the end of the house.. they stayed in full sun! The ones I have asst my home in Tennessee are so full they're just hanging over, they gorgeous.. also full sun! Google Lens the flower you're not sure of.. It'll tell you exactly what it is! My MIL had this bush at he pool fence full of little red flowers that smelled so good..i google lensed it and its a red honeysuckle! I have a huge pink one by my side entrance..i didn't know they came in red & pink! That last arrangement is also gorgeous! Beautiful by the bedside😊 I love your garden, its always beautiful! TFS😊
This is so Nice to see! Love it! Love Roses! All types! Take some photos of them ok! This is Mary in Hilliard Florida area! Have a Great summer! 🌹🌹🌹🌸💮🏵🌺🌻🌼🌷⚘🥀🦋🐞🐝💖💖💖
This was an absolute delight. Thanks for taking us into the garden with you. My late husband & I had a landscape mgmt. & design co., & he was president of So. Calif. Heritage Roses. We had dozens of David Austin rose & I still love drooling over their catalog. Someday, I want a beautiful cutting garden again, with bearded iris and all sorts of flowers, but in the meantime you inspire me to make plans for it. 🍃💖🍃
Iris are very forgiving. They are hardy! Dig up your iris at the end of August. Trim the foliage to about 2-3 inches. You can look for parts of the tubers that have roots and divide so each piece has a root. Just chop them up. Plant shallow. You should see the top of the tuber when you cover the roots. Then, just forget them. They'll be back.
Selena you are a beautiful young , lady . I love your dress , you look absolutely stunning . Love your garden 🪴 . I have a roses 🌹 garden but they aren’t blooming yet . Blessings to you & your family . 💞💚💞
Love the pink roses by the gate they are beautiful the irises are so pretty love your beautiful garden Selena and the dress also thanks for sharing your lovely garden with us 💐🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
Everything is so beautiful, the dress the flowers and the bouquet by the bed. Love your videos. So refreshing from just thrifting the same things over and over.
Thank you Selena for the tour. What a joy it was for me after a 2 week hospitalization. Home now and loving your video. The music is phenomenal as well. ❤️
Selena you did not mention that beautiful pink poppy! I love poppies. I had that one but my husband , while weeding pulled and thought I would not notice. Anyhow I have not been able to find it again. Love love your channel and your Victorian style! Keep doing what you do!
Wonderful vlog, Selena! Love your garden, so beautiful! You're home is so beautiful, too! Thank you for taking us along into your home and learning about facials/beauty and enjoying seeing your beautiful roses and all your beautiful flowers. The seating set is so beautiful too! Wonderful weekend to you! ;)
Hi Selena absolutely beautiful video. Your skin looks so glowing really lovely. The dress Selena is gorgeous just right for collecting flowers from your garden. Your garden is beautiful, the peonies are my favourite. I love all type of flowers. My roses are finished now as we are in Winter. The music was delightful. Truly a wonderful video. Thank you so much. ❤❤
Shame on me, but when I used to go on my walks, this one person had multiple varieties of irises on her front hill. I just would pull out a leaf, they actually have roots, and plop them in my garden. They grew. Yes, you can separate the rhizomes in clumps and relocate them. Start with one test clump to see if it works. I’m sure it will. My irises last for several years then totally die off. I don’t have a proper location to plant them any longer due to building of deck, but I try. Your garden is lovely, your roses incredible and your dress amazing. That white flowering bush, or delicate pink, reminds me of my bridal veil bush, but it isn’t. I believe it’s a variety of Deutzia which comes in several pastels and varieties. I think it’s quite beautiful. I had a dappled willow, but it was grated so it was a tree. I had it pruned into a pom pom. Unfortunately we get extremely cold winters and during one particular winter, we had over 3 months when the temperatures never got above zero Fahrenheit. I lost both my willows, the arctic blue and the flamingo (dappled willow). Both were grafted trees so they would never grow higher than their 5 or 6 feet. I was so sad to lose them both.
I love your yard and home it’s all so beautiful , and your patio set , wanted one these for years !!!! Found me a settee and 2 chairs a few years ago , and just a few months back I found the table and 4 chairs for 150.00 on market place ! So excited, I do agree they are not the most comfortable haha they need cushions for sure !
the roses are beautiful the colors are beautiful I love the Frog vases , it's like when you have your winters in Oregon everything comes out so huge and healthy in the spring . you did good when you went to that guy's house and got all of those bulbs and those other plants ,interesting to see what they look like now🌺🥀🏵️🏵️💐🐸🐸🐸🐸

Easy to divide irisies. They’re not fussy at all. Just dig/pry them up. Shake off dirt and pull apart … each rhizome should have some roots. Replant … but not too deep, kinda shallow. Enjoy. I have a beautiful yellow iris similar to yours. Love it 💛

So lucky to have a business just down the road from me that sells David Austin roses. I planted one this spring.
Your roses on the trellis is so beautiful 🥰
That first white little flower in the vase is called, “Queen Anne’s Lace.”
I was going to say Cow Parsley..... are they the same?
Wild carrot maybe?
@@maryrussell5926I believe Queen Anne’s lace and wild carrot are the same…☺️

Such a beautiful flower arrangement!
We had 32 traditional floribunda rose bushes at our old house. They were spectacular. We miss them. All of ours were purchased bare root from Jackson and Perkins mail order. Only had 2 not make it, and they immediately sent out replacements.
I love your David Austin roses. His roses are my favorite!
Beautiful garden! So enjoy visiting it. Am going to be on the lookout for estate sales that will sell the flowers! Excellent idea
That might have originally been a kindling basket but I definitely need one for gathering flowers
I divide my irises in the spring. My peonies are my fav. flower.
I am new to your channel and I must say your garden takes my breath away!
I would love to hear you sing while you’re showing the beautiful ocean scenes.
You have such a beautiful garden 🪴
Easy to divide irisies. They’re not fussy at all. Just dig/pry them up. Shake off dirt and pull apart … each rhizome should have some roots. Replant … but not too deep, kinda shallow. Enjoy. I have a beautiful yellow iris similar to yours. Love it 💛
