Great Belize Cooking - Episode 6: Toledo (Chocolate & Cohune Cabbage)

  • Great Belize Cooking is the newest show produced by Great Belize Television - Channel 5. It is a travelling showcase of the different cultural foods and ingredients used within communities throughout the country of Belize.
    Host & chef, Sean Kuylen, takes viewers on this culinary journey, and even creates gourmet recipes using the traditional ingredients in non-traditional ways.
    Season 1 will feature 6 episodes. Each episode is shot on location in each of the six districts of Belize, and features food that is popular in that geographic location.

    I love this stuff..Belize has so much to offer and Punta Gorda is Belize's best kept secret. Its natural and pure and many many secrets of culinary and art is there.

    Top Chef Sean is funny and lively can't wait for season 2. It's good when you can see your people do great things. We are watching in the States so keep up the good work. FYI great production also!

    My mom cook the yellow ginger chicken first like normal stew chicken and on the end then she puts the cuhone cabbage delicious food

    When we were kids in Belize, if the other kid said he was from P.G. or any of the outer towns, they would laugh at him. Bush boy, farm boy were the common names. So mean and ignorant. Today, those same small towns are highly desired places to live. The passage of time changes everything.

    That is not called yellow ginger its Turmeric what Indian use in curries, it does look like ginger my mom used to grow it also in Trinidad.

      chris chav some people just don’t understand that in different cultures/countries things have different names and that is ok, I don’t see why they have to fight over it all the time. It’s a very ignorant human nature. And everyone seem to want to claim that they are right .. oh well.
