I have a Euroarms Rogers & Spencer with adjustable target sights. It is very accurate with round balls. I just cast some Kaido 220 grain conicals to try in it. They fit in the loading port no problem. Howell makes a .45 Colt conversion cylinder for them too. All around a great percussion revolver and excellent shooter. I enjoyed the video.
Looks like the designers studied the existing Cap and Ball revolvers made by other manufacturers and fixed the problems, I was wondering about the shape of the but looks odd compared to all other revolvers of the time you demonstrated that well.
The best R&S replica, and one od the best(if nit the best) replica od cap and bal revolver ever made is german feinwerkbau R&S, but it cost 3/4 price od orginal R&S or more.
You mentioned the gun shoots high. Hard to tell from the video, but the front sight looks shorter than my other Rogers & Spencers, and none of them shoot low like you reported.
Interesting🤔 Well I know with the model I have it shoots very high. 6in-7in with two hands and 8in-9in with one hand. I had to aim at the dirt below my steel target just to hit it.
Beautiful revolver. One of the best looking ones made.
Great video thank you for sharing.
Anytime 👌🏼
Really nice score

I just snagged one of these at the same time I was able to find a Pietta Starr SA.

Get a replacement front sight, they can be found. Wont shoot high any more.
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m gonna do to this pistol.👍🏻
@@TheMusketMan98 want one?

How much was the original? Looks like a very well designed revolver. Thanks for sharing.
If I remember correctly, I think he was asking $2100.
