This is why I said I was surprised that Green got this Diablo card, it didn't really seem like it needed that kind of help; and now it's combining with the discard effects of Green and Bucky and its just devastating as you are discarding them, and when they try to regain footing you are also gaining cards from your Diablos.
That stalemate situation I think is why this deck will be a top contender but probably not the best. Certainly can’t wait to see how the meta shapes up
Hey Zan, why not take out Morph and a Pegasus and replace with A Whole New World? Late game if you have Diablo exerted, just exert Beast or Robin Hood to draw 7 + 7.
Deck is really fun. Worst matchup by far seems to be ruby sapphire. have tried many different lines with very little success. Occasionally can sneak one out if I can get all the cards out of their hand before they clear my board, but not consistent at all. A lot of cards in that deck that have a ton of value against this deck it seems. Any tips?
im missing an aladdin, a we dont talk about bruno and one of the diablo devoted heralds. What would you recomend as replacements until something is found... maybe adding another sudden chill, a benja and second morph??
Good stream and content but for the love of god turn down the sensitivity of ur mic or add some background noise. It makes me nauseous listening to white noise combo’ee with nasal and throat swallowing sounds.
Going against steel and knowing cards you had from the first game he should not have played that Gothel out early. Very strange, should have expected it would be taken out before Rapunzel could get cards off of it.
@@Legaleagle0200 I see that. But is trend driven by sentiment or performance? Like if a thousand people usually play R/A but because of new cards and boredom of R/A 700 of them jump to R/S, that does not mean that R/A is worse. Just means majority of data is being pulled into R/S now.
Edit: Your Diablos and Ursulas can dodge Brawls, LTSRO, GYS, Teeth (Diablo only) etc. Ofc, you can discard their songs with 2-cost Ursula, but it's just a consideration, since you run only 1.
If you're even a moderately competent pilot that can understand decision making without needing an explanation, do yourself a favor and mute this video while watching👌
This deck is just destroying the fun in lorcana. Nothing more boring and frustrating then top decking from round to round after turn 4. Either in watching, but especially in playing of course. The popularity of this deck in the current set makes me consider stop playing and buying lorcana for now

Yeah, I LOVE the new Diablo. I think that it is a great card. That said, it's far too easy to stop. The removal from Stewl alone in a mirror makes him useless. And now that there are more Evasive options to be had, Diablo isn't even safe in combat. But as per usual with card games, the meta latches on to very specific decks, and cards. Then pushes them as the best. The reality is that any old school card game player will rip this Emerald/Steel deck apart sooner than later.

Steel heavily on the rise against Bucky then... Avalanche dodges Ursula and kills all Bucky, Ba-Boom eats Diablo.
That game 3 felt heavily dependent on that Pegasus top deck

Congrats on ATL top 4, Zan! Diablo gets banished so frequently against Blue Red’s brawl. Any tips on evading that?

That is no good. You want to shift it after bucky is down so you get the discard

Better to shift Diablo turn 1 , play 1 cost diablo and look at their hand and if nothing can answer diablo then shift on same turn,

Emerald/Steel is better with PJ over Diablo imo. Ward > Evasive
