Let me know what you think of the Witch-king of Angmar! Who should I make from Lord of the Rings/The Rings of Power next?? Check me out on Tiktok @aceofclay!
first up love it but just a little nitpick i have and its the way you pronounced angmar when you said that its not Ang-mar the n is there but its some what silent but again not a problem just had to say something but other then that keep up the amazing work
It is so awesome that you're doing characters from the LOTR's. I want you to do them all! Please do Gandalf next, maybe Aragorn after. Actually you pick lol!
I know this is an odd request, but could you do Eowyn when she’s in her battle armor? I feel like it would be a good piece to fit with the witch king. I’m not gonna say why to spoil it for the audience.
Yesssss!!!! I am so excited that you're finally doing LOTR. You gotta do GOLUM or the BALROG, GANDALF, SHELOB, TREE BEARD (ENT), the MOUTH OF SAURON or even BARAD DUR or SAURON himself!! I can't wait to see all the LOTR sculptures you do!!!
Yes, PLEASE, more LOTR characters! We need Frodo and Sam at least. Your Ring Wraith is one of your best works so far! Glad to see your new found love of the airbrush, I've used one for decades and they are a superior painting tool. If I were to nitpick, the sword hand grip is a bit wrong for the sword's position with the armature wire underneath but most viewers would not notice it. All in all, a wonderful sculpt!
You most def need to do more LOTR characters! This was a very well crafted sculpture! As for that airbrush with the rechargeable air supply, I love it! How long can you air brush with it? And to help clarify on your spattering, several things cause it…one is that there is a plastic sleeve inside the airbrush that may have slipped out of place. It needs to be in its correct spot, or it obstructs the air flow. The other is that you may be using the wrong size needle and tip for the paints you are using. And the last thing of course is the paints. While you can use a lot of cheaper paints, they may be too thick to atomize through the airbrush. So you may need to find a reducer that is compatible with your paints, to thin the paint down. I do love this sculpture, and I would love to see Gandalf as well as Frodo…..but ANY LOTR character would be sweet!
I'm so excited you're doing lord of the rings!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again... You are SO TALENTED!! I would love to see Treebeard (ent, the shepherd of the trees), Smaug(the dragon), and an orc that you make up would be right up your alley!
Ace I am so glad you are into the Lord of the Rings characters now. There are some absolutely amazing ones out there and you are and can do an incredible job on them. There are also great ones out there from the Wheel of Time series and of course Game of Thrones and House of Dragon. You could do all of them justice. I really loved today's sculpture. Sauron would be another great sculpture because you could use your own style while still keeping the overall aesthetic of Sauron. Characters from his evil army would also be amazing in your style. Keep up the great work.
He came out fantastic! I think a dwarf would be right up your alley with the incredible amount of detail that would be needed to do one justice! Whatever you decide, I'll be watching.
Wow! Anthony really upped his game with this one! I loved all detailed footage of the sculpting and assembling! I think it turned out amazing! I think his confidence as a sculptor has grown by leaps and bounds!
Amazingly beautiful! 👏 The splatter, most of the time, is because the paint is too thick or the nozzle is getting logged. I've Used the Createx in the past but for my 0.35mm airbush is too thick. If you want to use some iridescent paints in the future I can recommend The Shifters by Vallejo, they work beautifully.
I've never seen any of the LOTR's movies but your excitement for making this sculpture was so fun it made me super invested! I look forward to more of these!!!!
Great films, the first three that were made are by far the best, the "Hobbit" films were ok, but definitely felt more kid friendly. The new show "Rings of power" isn't bad if you can get over the fact that they are not following everything to the letter of the authors lore.
I love your Ringwraith. It is so freeflowing and the face is so lifelike!! I am enjoying your telling of the Lord of the Rings story as I am unfamiliar and find it very interesting. Looking forward to seeing which character you depict next. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing.
The detail is AMAZING on this one. Love the colors on the face. The clothes I think could have been more tattered & worn, and a darker tone like in snow white and the huntsman. Congrats on another awesome CREEPY AF sculpt 😈👏🤘
I'm so excited you have entered the Lord of the Rings world! One of my all-time very favorite movies of all time!!! Love the "Witch-King" He looks awesome with the flowing robe! Can't wait to see who you do next! Your talent knows no bounds!
I also purchased Iwata eclipse airbrush and yep their is a learning curve, the clean up of airbrush gets easier though as I was kinda tentative when first started. The right paint does matter I realized too. Great sculpt as always!!
GIMLI!! Please sculpt Gimli! I feel like people don't show dwarves enough love and I am absolutely obsessed with dwarves. They're my favorite fantasy race. The Witch-King looks amazing, by the way.
If you ever want articulation, use a Marvel Legends figure as the base and create everything around the Legend figure! That’s how i use to make our custom 6”-9” scale Gi Joe’s and Thundercats! I’ve always used model molds(using Lego made mold boxes) and using the exact same sculpt putty’s you do! I’m stuck at home right now and was thinking about going back to my childhood roots! I’m was a prop/fx ,costume designer for some years,so i do life size props aswell! I actually made the Snake eyes V2 mask for the GI Joe film using that stuff! Just a few more cool ideas for you to try out,if you haven’t already, which you probably have! Great job! Thanks for the inspiration!
LOTR is also my favorite trilogy of all time as well, your Witchking of Angmar is spectacular!!! I hope you sculpt more characters from LOTR!!!! I'm quite fond of the king of the Oathbreakers that Aragon enlists to help in the war.
Very satisfying to watch the airbrushing! And oh my gosh your hands are so steady with those fine details, I have lady hands and I'm impressed. I'm no sculptor but you make me want to try it anyway. Your work is masterful!
This is absolutely 100% the best very video on your channel, I love the filming editing and the dialogue, and I am so so so so so happy someone else loves LOTR, it is absolutely one of the best, how do you feel about the hobbit? Can you make more characters from LOTR??? Sauron? Boromir? Pleaseeeeeee, I need moreeeeeeeee, love the video
Wow, just wow. this is so fabulous! you have such mastery of your craft, and dedication. I am so a fan now! (just found you today) thank you for sharing!
Awesome project! Gollum would be a nice one, too. Just watched The Fellowship the other day for the millionth time. I love the movies so much and I also love the new series. Also I read all the books of course. Another huge fan here!
Hello Sir, I really love your work! It tickles me not end to watch the videos! The ringwraith is a very good example of your talent! Excellent work! That sculpture is definitely nightmare fuel for me! I've read the trilogy for years, (about once a year for 6-9years) before the movies were made. Therefore, I am undoubtedly biased. That said, I absolutely hated the movies on the subject! The art and talents employed to make them are absolutely amazing, truly! It just didn't do justice to the books. If I'd seen the movie first, I wouldn't have ever read the books.
Angmar looks brilliant!!! Can not wait for you to do more of the characters! This one might be a very challenging sculpture to make and will definitely take alot of effort but I would absolutely LOVE to see you sculpt Sauron (with his armour and spikey crowned helmet). Like I said, probably very challenging but definitely a fun challenge I think! Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait for the next video!😁
He's fabulous! I can even see the texture in the "cloth" ! Wow! You did a very good job! Cave Troll world be a great next video. But , please, suit yourself! Your head works fine for what direction to go next. Your creativity is so delightful to watch bloom with whatever you choose to do! Thanks!
I’ve just gotten back into my art and your videos are great! Also, just grabbed my air brush supplies today - my painting skills just haven’t been finishing my work to the quality I’d like… more videos on how to combine air brush and you’re painting would be Fantastic!
Outstandingly done Anthony! I do hope you continue to explore Tolkien's World! maybe you can do some of the animals or monsters as well as characters too!
Gday great video... Airbrushing is great to learn. 😀 FYI you can add the air hose to NerdECrafters spray gun and use it with either the compressor it came with or a better compressor.
Hey! Awesome sculpt! I was wondering if you had done a video of how to sculpt fire yet, like your water tutorial? I have been wanting to make a fire monster sculpture for a while now, but haven't been sure how to approach it...
Oh shiiiiii... f me up with more LOTR sculptures Anthony! 😍😍😍 this guy is flipping magnificent! And I would love to see you grow your airbrush skills as well! 💗
The 'spattering' while you're airbrushing is due to your paints being too thick (or conversely, your air pressure being too low). Thin the paints a little, or crank up your pressure. Thinner paints usually give you more control, however. Thin paints under high pressure will give you a different problem: splattering, runs, and 'spider-webbing'. Like everything, it takes a bit of practise to dial in the right combinations of settings to suit the equipment and materials you're using.
I've had most of Tolkien's books since before Jackson thought about a movie, so I'm a big fan. I hope you bounce around making good guys and bad guys in LOTR.
Holy Schnikies! This is by far my favorite piece you have done! Yes please explore more from LOTR. My most favorite movie series. Especially watching the appendices in the DAD'S.
Createx are good quality paints. The spatter sounds like it's to do with your compressor not being strong enough....or you need to thin your paints out. I honestly prefer Paasche Airbrushes, but I know a lot of model makers like and use Iwata. Your sculpture turned out beautiful! His hair looks like material and the flowing fabric looks like hair. Maybe make his hair have more thickness, much like the lochs of hair on the top of his head. His long hair needs to be more 'tubular', lol....like, totally🤣😃
The istari next please! I know we only really know of Gandalf, Saruman and Radagast but would be fun to design the two blue wizards and have the 5 in one big piece!
Many white paints will have trouble being air brushed. You will often need to thin down white paints more than other colors whenever airbrushing with whites.
Let me know what you think of the Witch-king of Angmar! Who should I make from Lord of the Rings/The Rings of Power next??
Check me out on Tiktok @aceofclay!
Aslong as its not from rings of power im sure we all will enjoy whatever you decide to do
first up love it but just a little nitpick i have and its the way you pronounced angmar when you said that its not Ang-mar the n is there but its some what silent but again not a problem just had to say something but other then that keep up the amazing work
Here are a few suggestions:
-Sauron
-Cave Troll
-Balrog
-Smaug
-Gandalf
-Gollum
-Shelob
There’s a lot of options 😅
@@draw2death421 Ikr 😂
Treebeard or another Ent would be awesome! I also would love to see you sculpt Radagast with his rabbit sleigh!
Please, please, please, please, please sculpt a L.O.T.R Cave Troll. 😁🙏❤👍
I'd love to see your take on what all the ring wraiths would look like in there full armour and robes, from this sculpt I know they'd look amazing
It is so awesome that you're doing characters from the LOTR's. I want you to do them all! Please do Gandalf next, maybe Aragorn after. Actually you pick lol!

and her cutting off the fellbeast's head
i think thats her

I think Radagast the Brown or Beorn would be great for sculpting. Two understated characters but vital to the storyline. I love their unique looks 😊
I love the end result of the loose fabric billowing in the wind! That turned out really neat!
Amazingly beautiful! 👏
The splatter, most of the time, is because the paint is too thick or the nozzle is getting logged. I've Used the Createx in the past but for my 0.35mm airbush is too thick. If you want to use some iridescent paints in the future I can recommend The Shifters by Vallejo, they work beautifully.

Man you really created great movement with this one. Beautiful work.
He looks great. Yes I would like to see more of the Lord of the Rings characters. 👍🏻

I love him. I’m delighted you are sculpting one of the characters from my favorite movie series of all times. I sure hope you do more! I can’t wait!
Once again, so amazing! It's awesome how accurate the proportions are to the official art.
Love how you sculpted the sleeves & hair!
The detail is AMAZING on this one. Love the colors on the face. The clothes I think could have been more tattered & worn, and a darker tone like in snow white and the huntsman. Congrats on another awesome CREEPY AF sculpt 😈👏🤘

Jackie from Nerdecrafter was right, you are absolutely amazing! That sculpture is fantastic! You are truly so very talented.

I actually made the Snake eyes V2 mask for the GI Joe film using that stuff!
Just a few more cool ideas for you to try out,if you haven’t already, which you probably have! Great job! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love te colour shift top coat, it just added the perfect final touch!
OMG I need to see an Uruk-hai with the white hand emblem. I feel like you would do it so awesome
I would love to see you do a Fellbeast or a Warg with rider. Those types of creatures seem right up your alley. :)

Awesome work as usual, the spatter from the airbrush may be down to not enough thinner in the paint, and tip drying on the nib.
Wow, just wow. this is so fabulous! you have such mastery of your craft, and dedication. I am so a fan now! (just found you today) thank you for sharing!
Love the different style of sculpting! Fantastic piece of work
YAY!!!!! Oh Anthony I’m so happy you’re diving into Tolkien!!!! And that shirt looks awesome on you!👏
Awesome project! Gollum would be a nice one, too. Just watched The Fellowship the other day for the millionth time. I love the movies so much and I also love the new series. Also I read all the books of course. Another huge fan here!
The movement you achieved is great!👏🏻👏🏻
Hello Sir,
I really love your work! It tickles me not end to watch the videos!

I've read the trilogy for years, (about once a year for 6-9years) before the movies were made. Therefore, I am undoubtedly biased.

It just didn't do justice to the books.
If I'd seen the movie first, I wouldn't have ever read the books.
Would love a Sauron in armor sculpture. Ooo and maybe witchking on fellbeast. Anything lotr with make me so happy
I love your sculpting and have learned alot about how to. PLEASE do make more LOTR characters, it is also my all time favourite books and movies.
Angmar looks brilliant!!! Can not wait for you to do more of the characters! Awesome piece! love colorshift effect!
Being a bit of an LOTR fan I’m delighted to see you sculpting them.the detail is amazing. More please !!
He's fabulous! I can even see the texture in the "cloth" !
Wow! You did a very good job!
Cave Troll world be a great next video. But , please, suit yourself! Your head works fine for what direction to go next. Your creativity is so delightful to watch bloom with whatever you choose to do! Thanks!
He's amazing! I have definitely got to get some cosclay. Flowy fabrics are impossible with regular clay.
I heard this was an amazing piece of Art. They weren't wrong. Epic job mate.
Oh! Make a fellbeast! I wanna see!!!! Those things are creepy but so cool!!!!!
This is cool I would love to see you sculpt more lord of the rings creatures
My vote is for Radagast the Brown! He's so wild and nature-y, and CosClay would do him justice.
I would love to see you sculpt Gollum!
That's a pretty ambitious piece! It looks fantastic.
The ringwraith could make such a nice diorama while Froddo is trying to wear the ring or Gandalf with Balrog.
I’ve just gotten back into my art and your videos are great! Also, just grabbed my air brush supplies today - my painting skills just haven’t been finishing my work to the quality I’d like… more videos on how to combine air brush and you’re painting would be Fantastic!

Excellent piece, amazing attention to detail ♥️
@aceofclay I would love to see your version of a dementor from Harry Potter! This turned out great!!!
So happy to see you venture into LoTR's characters! I love this trilogy so much
WOW!!! DUUDE!!! I’m excited to see you do more. You know we’re going to ask for Golem and Smaug now right!?!?
I'd love to see your take on a dementor. Different franchise, similar ethereal style.
He's wonderfully creepy and perfectly intimidating! Fantabulous!
This is truly an amazing talented sculpture. Great job Anthony. So impressed.
I sure hope you do a couple differant orc's in this series 😉 great job on this 1. I did buy a air brush just never used it yet.
Awesome job!!! How about the beast that the witch king rides? Or an Uruk-hai?
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’m addicted to your content. Great job!
Hey! Awesome sculpt! I was wondering if you had done a video of how to sculpt fire yet, like your water tutorial? I have been wanting to make a fire monster sculpture for a while now, but haven't been sure how to approach it...
You know you have to sculpt a Balrog now. Can’t wait to see more lotr characters
Very nice I like it as I was watching you paint it I was thinking what it would look like if it had that glow in the dark paint on it.
Oh shiiiiii... f me up with more LOTR sculptures Anthony! 😍😍😍 this guy is flipping magnificent! And I would love to see you grow your airbrush skills as well! 💗
Wow! The detail!
I'd love to see you sculpt an Ent. Oh and the dragon thing the witch Kong rides.

I love it . I love that movie Lord of the ring. I wish they make more of those moves.
I cannot express enough the thrill this video is giving me! LOTR 4EVER!!! 🙌🏼
So fantastic! My vote for next character is Saruman (with his staff and planatir)
Wow! You are an amazing artist! Kudos
It’s beautiful, Anthony!
This is amazing, it really nice to see some of your different skills on something so intricate. I am so a massive LOTR fan.
His flowing fabric strips certainly make him look ethereal. More like a demonic ethereal being. 😁😁👋👋💖💖
Looks fantastic!

Do Galadriel she is amazing and you would do such an awesome sculpture of her!
You always do such an amazing job sculpting. I would love to see you do rng designs again.
I wish Tolkien had written more on the Ring Wraiths, I always found them very fascinating and wanted to know who they were before
Absolutely incredible work! I’m a huge LOTR fan, definitely want to see more characters.
This is so amazing!🙏 I would love to see you make Sauron✨
Yessssss. More LOtR!!
Many white paints will have trouble being air brushed. You will often need to thin down white paints more than other colors whenever airbrushing with whites.
LOTR is my favorite! I would love to see you make one of the Nazgul.
the very best and my favourite one of yours so far
More LOTR creations in the future🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻 this looks fantastic!
Nicely done.
So Gollum next?
Wow absolutely fantastic work 👍
I'd love too see you sculpt the balrog that would be awesome
