- For me this is a recurring theme. Idiots with nothing better to do than waste time shooting people from outside the no weapon zone area when you are on moons doing missions or getting your land vehicles. To be fair, let me make myself clear that I do NOT blame the players, but rather the game for lack of content to do and enjoy.

That was an AI NPC that you were fighting.. Not a player.
How can you tell? I was on the ground inside the armistice zone, and it started shooting me while I was landed.
The name of the person in the ship is 2 words, that's the first indicator. Players do not/can not have spaces between first/last names.
Also players can't shoot in armistice zones while NPCs can.
It's very common for NPC cutty blacks to randomly spawn at outposts like that.

I would set up gimbles on whatever ship you're flying you'll have an easier time aiming at targets it seems you were struggling a bit getting it aimed down, with gimbles wherever your mouse is aimed at it'll shoot at, you just press G and it should enable them if you have them, this was also a NPC they appear a lot with a full first and last name instead of one name all together.
I do have gimble mounts, but never used the G key.

Usually, it has been an actual player, not an NPC. glad to know the SC AI is working now Haha.
you need to change your pip, take grav assist off and get into some arena commander. also learn your keys binds because you kept switching to missiles when you two were in kissing distance
Yes, good advice about the key binds. I notice they change or reset, and I find out the hard way. However, I do need to set up key binds for combat systems, etc.

I guess you already know but that was an NPC. Just to fight better, next time try to mount on your ship some laser gatlings, more chances to hit the enemy.
Yes, I do need to do upgrades on all the ship systems. Any particular laser by name you might suggest?
@@Pandafoo Try Omniskys IX, they have higher projectile velocity and fire rate.
This is not meant in a cruel manner. But, brother... you need to hit Arena Commander and practice some basic dogfighting skills, even cargo runs can turn deadly at any point. Having some basic skil in flight combat will at least give you a chance.

…..why is your speed limiter set so low to fight?? It’s basically like you trying to fight/fly with your landing gear down, even with MM’s making everything god awful slow and simplified you still come across stuff like this 😂
