The tax is based off population size and how many years you have been playing. Every 5 yrs the tax per citizen goes up by 1 per citizen, so after 15 years each citizen will cost you 3 each towards taxes.

I found a map on the internet which shows Iron can be gotten from day one just outside the town furthest SW on the map.

So, was this your first place to build on this map? I am starting as a new player. Looking for recommendations as to which area is close to everything. After I am comfortable with the game I will try a different location. What do you suggest?

Really enjoy your videos. Straightforward and informative. Just got the game myself. Although I'm trying to learn as I go without too much research, the farming + this video have been excellent help!

I was unable to defeat this dragon after repeated tries as a thief. With no ranged attack, I had to physically get to each spot, but the dragon moved around the area so fast that it took forever just to catch on. Once I did, I had to crawl to each spot in turn and was thrown off almost every time which would inflict a lot of damage.

Thanks for the video. In my case, the assigned families of the trading post are too slow to bring goods from the storehouse. I am producing helmets and armours, and they are accumulating in the storehouse fast, but I can only sell 1 or 2 helmets in a month which is ridiculous. The store house is not far away from the trading post, and the trading post workers live next to the trading post. Only thing I suspect that, these families have large backyards cropping vegetables. Could that be the reason that they are too slow? Or is that a known bug in the game?

Does it change the yield? What does it do to their stats? Some guide 👎

Physics sometimes breaks. Try right clicking on the invisible box and sometimes that fixes it. I don't know if you have to be the owner of the object of if that trick works for everyone.

my food and fuel stay fine until i make a marketplace, once i make one my resources will slowly drain to 0 and everyone will starve. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

so i was playing last night and i got the tax up to 5k and noticed it goes up about 100 a year. i also stopped paying and was waiting to see what happens. thinking the kings guard comes in a burns everything is not what happened. i just went negative. is there no reproctions? im 50k in debt an no ones done anything...

Americans trying to show people how to make a grid MEDIEVAL city is like watching a baby teaching an adult how to make love... European cities are beautiful because they are GRIDLESS!! towns and cities had no grids, no layouts, nothing. the hunting hut was near the forests as well has the hunters house, the herborist hut was near the forests as well as the herborist house, farmlands were outside the town/city walls as well as the farmers houses. Inside the walls were the smith's, the woodcutter's, the taylor's work places and houses, also the stables, the barracks, the church and all built around a fortified castle (build in the top of a hill for defense purposes). So, when an american comes to tell you how to make a MEDIEVAL town/city, just laugh in their face... They have less than 300 years of history, whilst Europe well, we still have castles over here... If you want to know how to build a Medieval town/city just google: "How was a medieval town" or "city"

I just started this game yesterday. I loved the look of this area. But was dismayed that I can't bathe there. Also I wanted to keep most of the trees, but I am cringing over how many trees I am having to leave the area to go cut down so that I can make the few buildings that I currently have. Did not know fishing is not possible there either. Sounds like I might need to start from scratch and find a different place that tics all the boxes. Which is sad because I put my house on top of the cliff right above where yours is. I was going to have animals and crops on the lower area and my home, nicer houses and orchards on the upland.

A trick I just realized....after you platform to the second yeti. Before you force pull the gate, go to the right and get all the mechinal balls that explode. Walk back to the gate and start to go to the right and force pull the gate. If you time it right, the yeti will jump into all the balls and insta kill him.

The forgeries only work against the NPCs for missions and such... magic enchantments dont carry over, and actually if you dont have the tutorials disabled then the game actually does have a pop up when you first interact with the black cat... that being said there is alot this game doesnt tell you. I missed out on upgrading my stores to get better gear because I never got the gold idol from a quest and the one in fournivals house is glitched in my game so I cant pick it up😂 sorry this happened to you but believe me we all feel your pain or have at some point

Market place placement is very important to me. To reduce the travel time from say a granary to a food stall, frees up that pop to do other functions, like picking up supplies from hopefully a nearby source.

Great Video. I honestly think that they have this ship assigned to the wrong size hangar. I have scrapped the paint a few times. This should be resolved with patch 3.24...hopefully.
