    #DidYouKnow: There are different definitions of acids and bases, but acids can accept an electron pair or donate a hydrogen ion or a proton in a chemical reaction, while bases can donate an electron pair or accept hydrogen or a proton.

      @@shivakumaryalasangi5134 hey i can tell u much of it the solute is actually the solid substance which when dissolves in a liquid substance that is solvent forms a solution, liks for example when we add sugar and water we get a solution in which sugar acts as a solute and wated as a solvent, ;)

      In a 100 ml solution 5ml will be sulfuric acid and 95 ml will be water, Similarly in a 200ml solution 10 ml will be acid and the rest will be water and so on. (REMEMBER ADD ACID TO WATER AND NOT WATER TO ACID OR ELSE THE ACID CAN SPLASH ON YOUR FACE AND WEAR GLOVES AND LAB GLASSES WHILE HANDLING ACIDS)

    • @youknowtherulesandsodoi5704
      @youknowtherulesandsodoi5704 3 года назад

      Hey from what I know, a salt name consists of 2 parts: the first part of its name is from the name of the base and second part is from the name of the acid.
      Like if we the example of common salt (NaCl) called sodium chloride, then the first part of its name comes from the base it is formed of that is sodium hydroxide(NaOH) and second part of its name comes from the acid hydrochloric acid(HCl), so it's called sodium chloride(NaCl)

    if acids disassociate in water, its ions are separated. so how is it still acid. its a mixture of two substances
    similarly bases disassociate in water and ions get separated then how is still a base. its a mixture
    second question, why does no of ions produced in WaTeR state the acid's or base's strength Even though it has the ions before adding in water. Do ions only in water give acidity
    THIS CHAPTER IS WEIRD
