First ride on the 2019 BYD Auto K9M electric bus which was manufactured in China.
BYD buses for the Canadian market are manufactured in Ontario and BYD buses for the USA are manufactured in California. Nice video!

You guys are lucky then, our European BYD's do come from china or from hungary. Quality is far to be seen. Nothing is straight in these buses, most panneling has been cut weirdly. Some vehicles have rust spots on the outside body.

I think the top of the windows should be closer to the the interior lights, for a larger window, head lights look cool, roof should have a straight BRT style instead of a rise in the front and back. The electric Motor sounds good

How do I catch these BYD buses? Also what app do you use to track down buses in Toronto as in bus number? For example in Vancouver we use Pantograph
Hey just go to www.transsee.ca/routelist?a=ttc and click on any route. There are four bars, one of them being vehicles and you can track down a certain fleet number or bus model. Alternatively, scroll down to the very bottom of the route list where you can search vehicles by fleet number.

I like these buses but they could be better based on looks
These buses aren’t very good for filming bus rides because it was painful for me to film a bus ride because of how those seats were designed.

I remember riding this exact same model in LA and after watching your video, christ man, it's WAY worse than I remembered.
First at 0:26 - wtf is up with the welding on the frame, it literally looks like it's being held by duct tape?
Second at 0:30 - why the hell are the stairs DIAGONALLY shaped and STICKING OUT. This is extremely egregious design and is dangerous tripping hazard while the bus is moving. Nearly all low floor bus designs has the stairs to the back straight on and it NEVER eeks out into the standing area. This is one of the stupidest designs for a bus I think i've ever seen.
Is it even a surprise that these buses were pulled from service because of safety issues? If you ask me I think you should write to your transit org and have these buses immediately removed from service. They are easily the worst transit bus I've ever rode on.
Hard to disagree, and most of the time it runs like shit, too much jostling and no suspension whatsoever….
Might as welll be the electric version of the diesel novas as they both run like crap

Ugly design, hard to film a ride on.... hell no! Ain't no way I'm riding this bus... great video tho!
I forgot to even mention that TTC was supposed to order 30 of these but luckily they were against doing so because of delivery delays. They won’t be ordering these anymore given how unreliable they are
