This man could have used his gifted intellect to enrich himself yet he chooses to use it to further the kingdom. Thank you Lord for Pastor Tim’s great gift! The world needs real pastors way more than it needs engineers. Bless you brother Tim.

"If you want to take this Christian life seriously, then take THIS SERIOUSLY: Use EVERYTHING at your disposal that you know feeds and helps to strengthen and build up the new man...Make no provision for the flesh...Don't make provision for ANYTHING that has to do with your old corrupt life...Don't just do this hit and miss, you have to be constant." -Tim Conway
I have been imbibing this reality for that last two and half days and it has completely changed my life. I have been a Christian for so long, but not a truly practicing one, at least not fully from the heart! I think also of 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" -2 Corinthians 10:3-5
The following is what initially inspired my repentance and this has been a beautiful confirmation from Tim (God bless you brother):

God indeed provides us with the strength as his blessing for the New Man.
"Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet"(Judges 14:14).

God really showed up in my life this past year. He showed me what it is like to be fully surrendered. He stripped me of nearly everything. I can feel things changing.... the last of the strongholds are on there way out. This past year has shown me to lean on God and to trust Him of everything. But as a result I find myself being helpless. I have had a question for several months that I haven't been able to answer. Where does God end and my God given strength begin? When do I take the posture of being fully surrendered and when do I pick up my cross and work out my salvation? I want to be fully surrendered to God and I don't want to overstep my boundary yet I don't want to be lazy and complicit. Thank you so much.
Edit- God has shown up in very big ways in my life. He has been teaching me how to hear His voice and wait on His timing when it comes to waiting for a spouse, work, where to live, what church to go to and so on.... I struggle with the little stuff now. As an example.... The Bible is clear that we should not be glutinous and we should take care of God's temple. So I want to stop eating sweets. Its been a struggle... a real struggle. I'm not obese but I defiantly have a emotional relationship with food. The harder I try to stop the harder it gets. So I try to take 'ME' out of the equation and totally surrender it to God knowing that He can change my taste buds and brain chemistry. I feel like there is a conflict in between me and God because 'I' am making all these plans and provisions to stop eating sweets while trusting God to change me from the inside. If I was fully trusting God would I totally stop trying to make plans and provisions?
Does a drunkard need to pray wether or not its ok to be a drunkard? The Bible is clear that it is sinful to be a drunkard.. so does the drunkard stop because its in black and white in the Bible and submit themselves to detox or should the drunkard pray about it and ask God take there will to drink away but continue to drink until God performs a miracle?
I hope that makes sense and thank you in advance....

Robert John Thomas “I don’t want to fully surrender to God” is what’s holding you back. Rebuke that spirit of doubt in the name of Jesus.

Fully surrendering is the cross you take up. If you are fully surrendered the Lord will let you know what to do, and you do it in obedience to Him.

@@ruacharyeh9655 I never said “I don’t want to fully surrender to God". If you read my comment I said that "This past year has shown me to lean on God and to trust Him of everything. But as a result I find myself being helpless." I am in a place where I feel like I am fully surrendered. The problem is that I am so surrendered that I feel paralyzed. I have seen Gods strength and sovereignty over my life and I don't want to get in the way.... so I find myself waiting on God in prayer. As an example.... I want to stop eating sweets. I know that God can change my taste buds and my brain chemistry to stop eating sweets. So I pray for Gods power over my life so I can have a everlasting physical change. But I feel as if thats lazy and I should be doing everyone within my will to stop eating sweets. But then I feel like I am not trusting God. These questions are due to the amazing season of seeing God work supernaturally in my life and my desire not to overstep God's sovereignty over my life.

Be still and know that I am God. Trust in His plan for you no matter how long it’ll take. We only doubt if we trust in what we want/what we think we should get from Him that we are getting cuZ then time constraint becomes a factor.
It took Moses 40 years but he remained in meekness all throughout those years for the Lord and look what the Lord granted him.
Jesus loves us. Perfect love knows no boundary. ❤️🙏🏻🕊🔑☺️🏰🏝
