Hi Vlad. What a beautiful city Palmyra must have been.....awe inspiring. Amazing columns and gorgeous statues. Love the vintage photos. Too bad war has taken a toll on this wonderful ancient city. We may have nothing left to remind us of Palmyra in a few years. THANKS for sharing the memories of this place.

It is great to see so many images of Palmyra especially the early ones. With so many different phases of construction it is hard to get a sense of who built what but the differing styles and quality and techniques of construction are indicative of an area that has undergone many changes of fortune. Perhaps the big question mark is about the use of iron ties in some of the construction ? Great images Vlad - it is a pity the destruction of the site and archaeology has continued to the present day.

I very much enjoyed seeing the old photographs of the Ancient city of Palmyra. I think it would have been helpful if there had been captions on the photos to identify the specific buildings and artifacts shown in the screen , rather than just showing the lovely photos in a random manner.
I do have one criticism about the music selection, something with a more Middle Eastern flavour would have gone better with the glorious photos than just some generic acoustical guitar music. Do keep up the good work in sharing these photographs of these beautiful
    structures from lost early Civilizations.

Vlad with all respect for what you do. Is it not time to show what is in our Slavic lands? Show what artifacts we have. And from my own backyard. Near my house is a seaside cliff. Sometimes, after a storm, part of this cliff falls out. Then you can find cones among the sand. They are about 12,000 years old, but exposed to oxygen, they open like those who have just dropped from the trees. Such still living remains of a great flood. Greetings.
