Consider offering customers domestic soft start *inverter* fridges like the Samsung 270L and LG 279L. We run the Samsung 270L (1635H x 555W x 637D) 24/7 off a dedicated 375w Victron inverter and it uses no more power (incl inverter losses) than the large 12V fridges. The Samsungs are $700 vs $2-3000 for the Dometic, Vitrifrigo, Bushmans etc. 100s of vanners out there have been running these inverter fridges for years over all sorts of tracks so they're as robust as the 12V's if not more. Sure warranty might be an issue but have you ever tried to claim statutory warranty through Dometic after expiry! If the domestic fridge fails, which is extremely rare, it's less than a third the $$$ to replace. They run very quiet, no icing up, auto defrost, have larger capacity and most importantly hold stable safe food temps even on a 40C day. And they don't require all the venting the 12V's do as they produce very little heat.
That's a few kilos to tow along no wonder they have the truck. You should always be careful with antennas shading the solar panels and killing 20%+ of the output.
Beautiful as always .just incase Jim doesn’t say I will WOW ITS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED . Bravo 👏🏻

and why they shouldn't be wired in series if shading will be an issue.
