    There is a 0% chance that Deni comes off the bench. He will be 30+mpg starting SF, and when they go full tank mode there is a good chance he gets pushed to more on ball role.

      @JNKimmet 16 дней назад +3

      Also, Portland doesn't really have PG depth. If Simons or Scoot miss time, Deni may get backup PG minutes.

      And he is only 23 year old, just two years older than Sharpe, younger than Simons. Are these two really so much better and have much more potential than Deni to make the team starts them over Deni and play a three-guard starting lineup? Portland has a lot of wings, true, but beside Grant who will be traded in any time, Thybulle? he will destroy your offensive game, Camara? Kris Murray? late season legend Banton? Jabari Walker? None of them are better than Deni. Remember, they gave up their own unprotected 2029 first-round draft pick, this year 14th pick (Bub Carrington) and two second-rounds for Deni, they want to get him and develop him.

      my personal perspective is that you'd be wasting the value of both of them, especially wemby as he can nearly win you blocks on his own. I'd
      1) Look at best player available 2nd round
      2) Pair him with high assist and 3s guy, I'd look at LaMelo if you're brave
      3) High threes punt assists (Kat, Lauri?)
      if you got Chet you'd all but guarantee a win in blocks every week but you can maximize your performance more with other cats targeted round 2 / getting a more rounded player

      How would the rest of your draft go? You'd be hurting yourself in points likely, assists, possibly FG% since they are not the most efficient bigs FG%-wise. Free throws would probably be fine. You'd more likely want an elite guard there for assists.

    Ah but Josh, you pick Chet, and then strategize picking the points guys the next 8 picks. Kuzma and Terry R are still available in round 8 or 9 for example. Personally, I don't get hung up on marginal negatives on a statistic that is variant. I pick upside with floor. You don't always hit 100% but if you do, the season is yours to win. And if you hit 60%, you still got a good chance.

    You have great points regarding advija. He is a great player but not like a superstar that can surely and instantly fit in a new team. Especially on this young blazers team. Maybe in the round 12 of 14-team leagues I will consider.
