I was there and it was truly amazing! I am a SWAC man but got dam NC A&T showed up and SHOWED OUT PERIOD!!!!
The Emotion that you see on the faces of some of the members at the end of the show speak volumes. The BGMM member at 12:42 says it all.
I am a new parent and it is a family on that field and in the stands and those seniors do get very emotional cause it is the last show

That "Love Don't Live Here" was extraordinary!!! This entire performance was outstanding! Not a dull moment. The fact that they had a theme focused on a record label's body of work was very creative.
I honestly can't get Faith Evans LOVE DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! I actually paid for RUclips Red so I can listen to that arrangement everytime I get in my car!!!

Ncat Btones really improved since Queen City. Also Thomas you wrote the hell out of that ballad, having the woodwinds come to the front 🔥.

Having both baritones and euphoniums gives us greater harmonic depth and color. Having baritones allows us to bridge the gap between the timbres of the trombone and euphonium to make for a much fuller ensemble sound...

A&T has proven over the past several years that they are the real deal. IMO, they have taken over as the #1 band in the land. It is very clear to me. The claim for #1 must come through Greensboro. Keep raising the bar A&T. I love it!

Man i get chills listening to that "love dont live here" joint...my first day listening to bands im from up north...i can say i just found a new respect for hbcu bands
i have been watching this band since 7th grade...back in 2012, and I have been in love with this band ever since. you guys have grown so much and you never cease to amaze me. Hopefully, I will be accepted to NC A&T and able to join the BGMM in August 2018!

WOW! Bravo! 👏 I had to come back and watch this show again! My god they sound so beautiful, and just simply amazing! What a show! That "Love Like This Before" by Faith Evans sound so damn beautiful! I've hit rewind and listen to that now about 10x's. And Golden Delight! OMG, they have to be hardest working dance team among ALL HBCU's. I mean all those ladies look as if they've been practicing 24/7! I mean they have a routine for every song. They never get tired of dancing! The NCAT Aggie band definitely the #1 band in the MEAC! FAMU, BCU, and the rest don't even compare, nor do they come anywhere near to touching this band! The NCAT Aggie band the TOP dogs of the MEAC, and that's for damn sure! Well done Director Of Bands WELL DONE! 👏👏👏

All I hear is load blaring and drums until y’all finally got to love don’t live hear anymore you started out ok but went back to noise that was not that good, I gotta say those dancers are bueatiful, but ASU ain’t no walk over,and don’t say nothing about those FLA bands they are better than anything I’ve seen as far as musicianship you can’t touch FAMU, sorry . No brag just fact

Love don’t live here anymore can go toe to toe with any southern song, with them being the cream of the crop, that was clean, the woodwinds killed, every section had there play, it was moving!!!!

I'm a dyed in the wool, old, band head. I've watched a kazillion marching band videos and this is one of the very best I've ever seen/heard! Not that anyone would care, lol, but my honest and unbiased grades are as follows:
Sound - Woooo weeee! Exceptional, A+!
Dancers, Flags - They have real physicality and actual dance prowess and can do something besides shake their azzes and grind their pelvic areas. Synchronicity darn near perfect. Tasteful, classy and exceptional routines, A+.
Cold Steel - Routines nice, playing very good, but could've chosen better music/cadences to showcase their talent, B+.
Overall Entertainment - B+
LOVED IT!!!!!
NOTE: I always grade (in my mind). I was in band competitions back when God was a kid. Also went to quite a few when my kid played in high school (would grade in my programs). One lady sitting next to me (from another school but not the one on the field) asked why I graded that band higher than my son's. "Our band was good (A), but that Cali band just kicked EVERYBODY's azz (A++)! That's why lol, lol 😀😀!"

GREATTTT Show!! None like it and none better. With no doubt they 'Own The Dome.' I'll be up front and say that I've never really enjoyed listening to T's tubas but I have to give credit where it's due, especially towards the end of that ballad. Nice way to end the season. I look forward to the next BGMM season!!

Man, I am definitely ready to audition for this band! It'll be an honor to audition for cold steel...I'm came close one time to be apart of the band, but I wasn't apart of the county. Now I'm ready to try again!!
A&T's performance (.. music selection; musical arrangements; sound quality; auxiliary (flags; dance team; drum majors)) was excellent. One weakness, though: A&T needs to be about 300 people instead of near 200 for visual optics and sound projection purposes. If this were implemented, A&T would crush all other bands; without it, A&T always remains a top 5-10 band surrounded by others (... BCU, FAMU, PVA&M, etc.).
