Oregon Kohler log splitter WON'T START, and HOW to fix it!

2022 Oregon 3000 Series log splitter with the 6.5HP Kohler engine will not start or stay running! Issues with not wanting to start since brand new. Very frustrating problem, but I'll show you how to fix it very easily.

Thanks! I think my problem is a faulty on off switch, but you led me really close. I unplugged the green wire like you said and it still didn’t start, so I unplugged the other two black wires and it started right up. Appreciate the help!

I tried to start my splitter yesterday with the same engine. After fooling around i found i had no spark. I came across your video and got spark back. Just have to check the oil before running it now but no big deal. I should be doing that anyway.

That's a low oil level switch.
