I had to watch this presentation once and then play it back at one quarter speed to be able to follow your mouse clicks. I look forward to videos where you also say what you are clicking on so we can follow along at normal speed. This is an excellent presentation. Thank you very much for it!
Thank you very much for this! It almost seems like there is so much one needs to know in order to even get a CNC machine working on a project - the learning curve seems (at least from first glance) to be overwhelming. I use Freecad to create 3D printed projects. And creating an STL file only takes two very simple steps.
The CAM part is quite a bit more involved. The main difference for me is that it is much easier to mess things up with the CNC by setting a cut too deep, selecting the wrong reference, etc. ...
0:03 wait, what is that dice game called?? any page for its rules etc? It seems interesting! 8:08 > _"lemme quickly explain simple rules"_ nice, but still what's the name??
Very timely topic to a new owner. But would you please explain what you are doing rather than what you are thinking? Because the reason we watch tutorials is to learn how to do it ourselves. I'm an experienced CNC programmer but new to FreeCAD, and though I understand the principles I still can't discern your clicks and hotkeys. To a newbe, it's more like a promotional advertisement than a training video.
@@WayofWood I wish there was some way to regularize all pluralizations in English. But then people would want to phoneticize English spelling. And after that people might wonder why America doesn't just adopt the Metric System.

There are quite a few slower videos that focus on the individual steps on my channel
@@WayofWood Great, thank you. I will check them out!
Agreed, slow it down in future please.
Great video! Appreciate the quick info on the spreadsheet module too, I had been meaning to figure out how that worked :)
Thanks 🙏

Great explanation, also of the spreadsheet. Thanks!
Thank you
Thank you for this! Really easy to follow along
Thank you!
@@WayofWood One question? What CNC is that? Thanks
@@marcosiccardi7956 It's from a German niche player, bulldog cnc
Once again nice video ... and a tool changer I am jealous
It's like magic. The new machine is really cool - will do a video on it soon ..
Brilliant. And cool game too.
Thank you!
very cool game, very (!) nice machine, great video
Good presentation, informative and inspiring!
Timely! Awesome!
👍
@@WayofWood With this, created a series to emphasize spelling the word to match a displayed picture. Thank you!
Nice excellent vedio sir thnx keep making
Thanks 🙏
Perfect. Thank you. Subscribed.
Awesome - I really enjoyed watching it - and yes... subscribed very thankfully!
Thank you!
Thank you for the video, what cnc do you have?
It's from a German manufacturer Bulldog CNC
New to CNCing, what object do you select to export on the model list? I am assuming you click on the jobs drop down box to export?
Do you mean generating the gcode? For this you have to click on the job and then generate the code
hi, nice video, I have a question, what kind of spindle is it because looks like ATC but small tools looks small could you help me with that TY!
The CNC is from bulldog CNC in Germany. They have a few detailed videos and descriptions about the ATC on their homepage.
Could you speed this up please? I can still see your mouse movements.
Can you please make series for cnc router in freecad
Good idea.
@@WayofWood looking forward to it
Thanks you

8:08 > _"lemme quickly explain simple rules"_ nice, but still what's the name??
I don't know the name of the branded version. I played it some time ago with a friend and don't recall the name.
Does what it says. Nice.
🙏
First & Thank You.
Welcome. 😃
3:30 CAM Part starts here

Good Feedback. I will post a more detailed video in the future.
1 die 2 dice. It's an irregular pluralization that even a lot of native English speakers get wrong.
Dont let the dice die 💀
😎
If you have two dice and one die dies the result is one dead die out of two dice. 😏
@@WayofWood I wish there was some way to regularize all pluralizations in English. But then people would want to phoneticize English spelling. And after that people might wonder why America doesn't just adopt the Metric System.
Honestly - a lot of other languages such as German and French are not that much better regarding pluralization
0:59 > _"radius of the corners"_
how did _you_ measure that?
There is a thing called a radius gauge. I found them super helpful in modeling stuff for the CNC or 3dp
Hey you may really like GatorCAM for how quickly you can get your design CAMed. It's on my channel.
