the back half was''bobbed'' or cut off and rewelded and or fabricated into a hardtail [no springs rear end] had one the same year mine was green with pearl ,and a hand stitched solo seat and tool box, afraid of it and what might happen so a week after getting it completely rewired by ''Shakey'' in Cattletsburg Ky. I sold it.
@MrWilb1 You take a stock bike, you cut the back-end off and weld on a rigid one, take off all the bits that add weight and you have a bobber. Bobbers were, initially, plain bikes stripped of everything that wasn't truly necessary, in order to save weight.
it amazes me the people that don"t hear an engine beatin its self to death tryin to run, cause they idle it down to that..that just punishes the bottom end of Harleys and britt bikes..jerkin and tryin to keep running and also slowin the oil down to the top end.
I actually prefer a big cyclops style headlight. Mounted high, atop a springer front end like an early knucklehead. To me small headlights trap it in the 1970's or 80's. Same with rectangle headlights. They just scream the 80's.

Very similar to how I want my AJS project to look, awesome job.
Damn, that's a SHARP bike!
Pull the read end off & they actually make a "Hard-Tail" conversion that just bolts on. That's what I done to mine.
Cool thanks
flip flops?
Sounds great! Looks great! I am thinking about putting some new pipes on my bike.. where did you get those?
Nice.
Very nice Bike! Do you have any further Details on the Bike and what kind of frame you used?

I'm sorry. When a guy approaches a bike in shorts and flip flops, I just puke.
beautiful bike, what size motor?
Stunner ... Trumpies rule!
i think smaller headlights would suit it more
