Rossi Took Moto GP to a whole level and everyone else tried to get on board but couldn't keep up until the new riders came along. Thanks for everything Valintino !!!!!
@@lunch2102 I disagree just because he wasn't always winning in his last 3 years doesn't mean he should stop because fans think so. Also he didn't do it for a paycheck like the other guy said, he did it because he truly loves the sport. Yamaha had so much drama with their second bike this year they should have just let him stay factory till the end. I guarantee he would have helped Yamaha towards the team title more than Vinales and Morbidelli did this year. His lap times last race on an old POS bike proved that if he was still on factory he would have been consistently top 10 this year.

Astonishing video. Poor Pecco gets so under pressure in home races and falls and Fabio looked sharp since the first race. One of the best seasons ever.
Everyone will remember this season forever, a season full of new winner & surprise, and the most important thing is, this is the last season where Valentino Rossi touch the finish line in MotoGP, Grazei Vale..

I agree with you at all the points except the overtake of the year. That was Fabio‘s move on Marquez and Martin at T2 and 3 at Spielberg2 around the outside. And bye the way Fabio had to throw away his chest protector at Barcelona, to avoid it from going underneath his tyres. His Suit opened up itself.
Grazie Vale forever the GOAT Congratulations to Fabio, Remy and Pedro for becoming world champions Ciao Valentino I miss you already my friend 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🏍🏍🏍🏍
For at least the last 5 years MotoGP has consistently produced the closest racing of any motorsport at world level. It doesn't even need the championship to go down to the last race for it to be exciting
Top 10 Riders of 2021 in my opinion: 1st - Fabio Quartararo (Obviously) 2nd - Francesco Bagnaia (Improved so much to the point that he emerged as one of the title contenders of the season. The only downside is he was a little inconsistent during the 2nd quarter of the season) 3rd - Jorge Martin (Had a very outstanding season overall which saw him capturing 4 poles and podiums including a race victory. The only downside for his maiden premier class season is the injury he suffered in Portimão, which forced him to miss up to 4 races in the process) 4th - Marc Marquez (Had exceeded expectations since his return back in Portimão which we saw him capturing 3 race wins and an additional podium finish. The only downside for his 2021 season however, is the somewhat high number of DNFs ranging from a simple mistake to a devastating one) 5th - Joan Mir (Remained consistent and had a solid number of podiums as a defending champion, but no race victories under his belt means that his 2021 season is overall a step back from 2020, even though he did finish the 2021 season in 3rd) 6th - Enea Bastianini (Had a very good maiden premier class season which we saw him frequently finishing a race within the Top 10 and even captured a couple of podium finishes with an outdated bike. With such results, he might continue to surprise us in the next season) 7th - Jack Miller (Had his best season so far in his premier class career by finishing in 4th overall, but inconsistency is still a major issue in his 2021 season) 8th - Johann Zarco (Had a very good start during the first half of the season to the point that he would be one of the possible candidates to clinch the title for the 2021 season, but sadly he fell off from the radar during the second half of the season and didn't recover until the last three races of the 2021 season) 9th - Brad Binder (In contrast to other KTM riders, Brad had a moderately better season due to his frequent number of Top 10 finishes including a race victory caused by his bold move of finishing the race with slick tyres in Austria R2. But his achievements of the season are rather pale in comparison to most other Tier-1 and Tier-2 riders in the 2021 MotoGP grid. 10th - Aleix Espargaró (Perhaps the most improved rider after Pecco thanks to the much more competitive Aprilia bike. But he should had scored at least a couple more Top 5 finishes in this season)
My top 10 is the same. But the order is different. The changes are. ~Marc Marquez at 3rd place- 3 race wins on a Honda ~Joan Mir at 4th place-6 podiums on a Suzuki ~Jorge Martin at 5th place-4 Poles, 4 podiums and 1 win but still he was on a Ducati unlike Mir ~Jack Miller at 6th place-Dissapointing, Didn't get a single Pole while a Rookie got 4 ~Johann Zarco at 7th place-faded after getting 4 podiums in the first half of the season ~Brad Binder at 8th place-No.1 KTM Rider ~Aleix Espargaro at 9th place-Got a podium in an Aprilia. Went back to his 2014 level again ~Enea Bastianini at 10th place-2 podiums and really good late race pace. Needs to work on qualifying. The last 3 I went mainly by finishing position in the standings.
The downside to Bagnaia is he didn't turn up for 2/3 parts of the season(first 12 races). He was 4th in the standings after Silverstone behind Fabio, Mir and Zarco. All three at that point had 4 podiums and 0 wins.
@@chamindujanith6337 Yeah. Imo the main reason why Pecco had lost the title to Fabio is mainly because of his inconsistency during the mid-season rounds (specifically after his first DNF of the season in Mugello until his worst finish of the season in Silverstone).
@@chamindujanith6337 Well, nice to see your ranking of the Top 10 MotoGP riders. And tbh it's hard to rank these 10 riders properly except for Fabio and Pecco.
Honestly, it was an average season of racing... but Quatararo, a healthy Marquez, Pecco coming into his own, 2022 will be nuts. Let's not forget that the Ducatis are becoming more balanced and starting to DESTROY all the other manufacturers.
