  • Sony A-7Riii real world review for action and portraits among other things.
Sorry about the abrupt ending to this video, not sure what happened. I thought about reuploading but basically it was just my closing points that were cut off, all the information is in the video.

Damn good review bud, and I could agree across the board. May have more to talk about with the video but, point being, keep up the great work.

Solid honest review. You addressed most of my qualms with the camera, small grip, lack of long lenses and lens prices. I shoot Nikon now and think it may be vary hard to switch in the future. You can pick up some great old glass for Nikon which is 95% new for about half price. I'm never going to spend 6K on a new 300 2.8 or 12K for a 600 f4 much less the 400 2.8 new. How long before Sony prices on used goods comes down? The AF and DR on the D500 and D850 are right there or better than the Sony. BTW I am always recovering shadows from baseball hats.
FYI the focus is off on the camera and it hunts every once in awhile. Also, seems like the video quit on you a bit early. Good luck out there, seasons are just about to start here in NJ.

"They are acceptable quality, not as sharp as their Canon counterparts" based on what independent testing? I don't understand how you can complain about a camera's complexity without studying it. After all, the same will apply for anyone trying any other camera menu. Like getting into a race car and then complaining the ride was hard and it was uncomfortable and you didn't what all the buttons did.
