I love how she notes that God raises the dough! In all of her recipes where risen dough is used, she adds the yeast but she gives God the credit for actually raising the dough. You have great wisdom Gina, wisdom that's born of years of experience that's been passed down in your family and passed on to your children and their children, just like it's supposed to happen.
I love how she chooses the best timing for singing. Not when she is in the middle of cooking but when she is 100% sure that everything is okay. Love you Gina and God bless you. Stay safe please❤️❤️❤️

Gina's easter songs this year got me very emotional with what is happening everywhere. Thank you Gina ❤ All my prayers to our neighbors in Italy and Spain, to the US may you all be protected, please guys stay confined at home as what we are living in Europe is just the most awful time of our lives. May we all be united against covid19 this Easter. Be safe. Love from France 🇨🇵🇺🇸🙏 and Gina I will make those easter breads this year thinking about you and your beautiful songs. God bless you ❤😘
🙏 Faith & Family ❤️ Bless you, Nonna Gina, for sharing your recipes, your smile, your faith, your stories, & your songs with everyone. 🇮🇹 Buona Pasqua!
My mom used to make this every year. When she developed breast cancer and had a mastectomy she lost strength and could no longer roll the dough. I had to go to her house and roll the dough. Your video brought back those great memories. Haven't thought about that in years. She's gone now 28 years but great memories. Thanks.
May you live a long and healthy life beautiful Nona Gina so you cook for us many more years to come. You are the best you cook from your heart everybody enjoys watching you.
🥰. In these difficult times you are a pure joy to watch. I remember making Easter bread with my Nonna many years ago. Making bread feeds the soul. Showing a whole new generation watching the old method of preparing a meal, & making bread especially is better than anything to keep us calm.❤️😘❤️👍👍👍👍👍🤗
Beautiful, beautiful, cooking and praying grandmother. God bless you. Now I miss my grandmother so much. Yes...thank you for reminding us all to keep thinking of Jesus. She sings and makes me cry.
Tonight in the UK it is almost midnight. I miss my beautiful grandchildren Mia, and Eva-Lucy. They are only nearby but I cannot hug them. We are locked down but your cooking brings back reality. Thank you - I am a Nonna like you - I thank you with tears x x x x
Thank you Nonna Gina. My family was from Caserta...I miss their cooking and baking. What a wonderful reminder to take it slow and remember our heritage through our traditions and foods. What a special gift you are. Thank you.
This video brought back so many memories of my grandma growing up in Brooklyn, NY. I remember the Easter bread she made was exactly like the ones Gina made here. I'm 66 years old now and grandma is long gone, but I still have the rolling pin she always used and use it whenever I bake. These cooking and baking traditions are so important to keep alive from generation to generation. Grazie mille, Gina.
Where are you from in Brookly? We are also from.Brooklyn MY GRANDPARENTS MOVED TO Long Island in the 60's. My family all.lives in Suffolk County by MACARTHUR Airport!
Mrs.Gina, you have a lovely spirit and sincere heart to me...You inspire me to sing more in the kitchen !Thank you ! I Love your grandmother's tradition to bless the rising of the bread to emulate Jesus risen! Love it!! May GOD continue to bless and keep you and your family!!!!!
Just wanted to say that Gina, you have such a beautiful soul! You remind me so much of my Nonna that passed away last year. She would have LOVED watching you and your recipes. Were from Massachusetts and know how important the Italian culture is and how important it is to carry on past family recipes. My Nonna was from Bonito Italy. Thank you for making me feel so happy while watching these videos
I just love her she reminds me of my Italian grandma who passed away in 2000 ... I also love her recipes that she is making..it brings back memories from my Italian grandma.... I'm going to try this Easter bread today.
Gina ti scrivo da Roma. Dall'Italia agli USA e di nuovo in Italia. Noi stiamo perdendo un po le nostre buine tradizioni ma persone come te continuano a renderle vive. Grazie di cuore 💛
Thank you for displaying how to not waste food by getting every little bit, a concept people these days need to think about. The time may come they will be very glad they did.
Thank you Gina, you have our whole family watching your videos. Fill out home with love, the kids walk in the room and say “hey it’s Gina:)” and smile. Saludos with love from San Diego, CA. We are making your Easter bread today!
I made it last night and it tastes quite close ti my dads. I suppose the difference is the commercial baking oven (my dad was an Italian bread baker). Great memories! Happy Easter
Thank you Grandma Gina! My kids love this Easter bread. This is my 4th Easter making your bread and my children ask for if it slips my mind...lol! New family Easter tradition for us, God Bless You!
You have inspired me and my boyfriend to learn Italian! My grandma is first generation American (78 now). She was only allowed to speak English as a little girl and much of the Italian traditions have been lost in my family. I am determined to give new life to Italian traditions and pass it on to my children! ♥️ grazie mille 💖💕
She is an amazing Christian Catholic soul 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 my grandmother always made the cross on any thing food she made , and the dough she made a deep cross on it with her hand , my mom also make the same and I also do ☺️😍❤️🙏🏻✝️ to give God the credit to bless the bread and to be raise beautifully. Praise to the Lord 🙏🏻❤️✝️ May God bless you and happy Easter mama Gina and your family . Happy Easter everyone 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Nona Gina you remind me of my Nona making bread in the kitchen and singing! God bless you! Thank you for giving us all memories that last a life time! I cherish all your recipes and most of all you beautiful spirit! Muito Amore!!!
After adopting several of your recipes, I decided to buy the e-book (Kindle) so that I could have them at hand in my tablet. The recipes are so clearly written, however my conclusion is that there’s nothing better than the videos, where we can actually enjoy your presence and sweet personality trying to transmit to us your culinary knowledge up to the minimum detail. Thank you grandma, God bless you and keep you in good health for many, many years! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
God bless you Gina, you have made Easter Special for me this year, I am on lockdown, because of the Corona Virus. I am on Dialysis 4 day's a week. I am going to try making your Easter Bread. You make it look so simple. Thank you for the recipe. I love your singing, Happy Easter to you Gina and family. Máire McQuinn, West of Ireland ☘☘☘ ❤❤❤❤

Gina, you bring back so many memories. My Nonnie and Pap came from Italy. Watching you fix the same foods they made, reminds me of our family gatherings. Happy times. I love watching you. I also have warm feelings for you. ❤
I have my mother's and grandmother's recipes. Some are so old and worn, and the Easter bread recipe is one of them. I remember cooking next to my mother, rolling out the dough to make raviolis, and putting them on a bed covered in towels to dry them a little. Watching Gina cook brings all those wonderful memories back for me. Thank you Gina! ☺️
Hello Dear, Beloved Grandma Gina, I love you so much when you sing, but I adore you because I didn't like to cook before, but thanks to you, now I already dare to cook and bake, you have been my inspiration to enjoy cooking that why I adore you, thank you so much and have a wonderful Easter weekend, a lot of hugs for you!!!
Love you Nonna Gina. I pray we all stay safe. Thank you for being there for all of us. It's a rough time. Stay in. Stay Safe. Feed that beautiful family. XO
Beautiful! Reminds me of my Yiayia, grandmother in Greek, she didn't like help either but we did and learned all of her recipes. Wish she was still with us to learn more if her cooking.
💐🥚🤩Grandma Gina! I Did It!!!! I followed your instructions and created 4 beautiful Easter breads of my own! 🐣Thank U! I always wanted to learn, my Italian ancestors would be so proud and now my children have learned too! Buona Pasqua Grandma Gina! I love you!💐🌷💝🐇🐣❤
I just love her she is such a blessing keeping tradition alive and teaching it to those of thus that lost our grandparents very young I just adore 🥰 her!!
A modern lady who appreciates and values tradition. I loved your style and presentation. You brought back lovely moments of the past when I used to help mum in the kitchen preparing for Easter. God Bless you grandma from Italy.
I adore you Gina! Love it that you have so many friends from all over the world. Did you ever imagine it? Over 400,000 people watching what you love to do! Any chance I can drive by to pick up a home cooked Italian dinner? Smile! Bless you Gina. PS Best wishes for Italy, so hard hit by this horrible virus. Why Italy, I asked. According to my research, Italy has a larger over 65 year old population, about 23% as compared to about 16% in other countries. Plus, large % of tobacco smokers.
Happy Easter! My partner is Italian and he can’t be back home with his grandma who makes these. So I decided to make them for him. This video helped so much. They turned out amazing! Thank you for taking the time to do this!
Gina, thank you for sharing your talented cooking recipes, your beautiful spirit with us, and your beautiful voice singing to God. Your family is very blessed to have you, and so are all of us. Everyone God ever created was and is a separate miracle. Have a Happy Easter to all and rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fear not in the pandemic, but know the Lord is with each and everyone of you always.
Dear Gina, I'm a Turkish guy who lives in Germany. I've been watching your videos for so long, and I just wanted to express my gratitude for the feeling you give while you're making your amazing Italian food. The way you explain the recipes, the way you find your way around the kitchen, and the softness of your voice (especially when you sing your Italian folk music) reminds me so much of my own grandma, who is no longer with us. She was the reason I'm obsessed with cooking so thank you for making me feel like I'm watching her again. We have a special and exclusive way of expressing our respect to the elders in Turkey, and it's by kissing the hand (pretty much like one would kiss a Capo's hand) and then touch the hand on our forehead. It's the ultimate way of showing respect and humility. Please accept my virtual hand kisses, and share more of your amazing recipes. I can tell that you have a very loving family, because the apple does not fall far from the tree, and I wish you a long and happy life with them. Grazie mille e cordiali saluti!
Oh just like my Italian mama made it! I have all her recipes but this one doesn’t have the measurements, so now because of a Italian Grandma I have it!! Can’t wait to make this for Easter! 🥰Graci! Buona Pasqua a tuti!

Happy Easter to you and your family! You bring me back to my cherished memories of days gone by! My grandma teaching me to cook in her dress and apron. Thank You for that!
Dear Grandma Gina: I just found your channel and this is the first video I saw. I watched it last night and first thing this morning I made this recipe. IT. IS. DELICIOUS!! I gave one loaf to my neighbor and half a loaf to another neighbor. They loved the bread so much they asked me to share your video, which I did! I can't wait to try more of your recipes!!! Blessings on you and your family!
Thank you for this video ! It brought back to mind such a happy memories of Easter morning..going to my grandparents after church for lunch with the extended family..with all the noise loud talking eating and laughing over the meal. And then this fabulous bread with the colored eggs and sprinkles served with hot espresso ☕️. And my Gramma's contented smile as we praised her for it! Love you !

My wife just made your Easter bread this morning. Very excellent flavor and texture. Thank you.
Smile!

I just love the way she bakes sings and brings the lord into it. God bless her.
Dear Gina,
I'm a Turkish guy who lives in Germany.

I can only imagine how much love your family has for you and vice versa, lovely Nona Gina. You are a rare treasure! ❤️.
Love you !
