I love when you recommend tools that work for you. Keeping it clean and concise is HUGE! I am trying to consolidate high-yield beds, and the proper insect management that make sense.
I'm 27, married, have a toddler, and I'm in the early stages of beginning my market gardening journey and figuring out what I want, but your book has been a huge help and inspiration to me these past few years.
Hi, I'm Francisco Rääts a young man with 61yo and I still hungry for learning I live in a farm in Brasil but a long time ago I lived in Saskatchewan and I still missed that time, thanks for all your effort and beatiful work. Sorry my poor English. Big hugs
Thank you for calling out these no-till purists. It's literally just another marketing scheme. No farmer wants to till their soil to death. Hardly any do anymore. I tilled this year for the first time in 2 years on the farm. Honestly I really don't like working with newly tilled beds, as they tend to be too soft and dry out too quickly.

Do you think you need to come up with new edition of your book with new knowledge of 12 years post 2011
Books for you Mark dice. Alex jones, the Creature from jeckel island,
How many acres are you farming in this video?
He said 1.5 acres.

That's more than 1-1/2 acres!
Only counting beds and paths, I assume?
@@ximono that's more than 1-1/2 acres too.
@@tannenbaumgirl3100But why would he lie about it? I think I'm going to trust JMF on this.
@@ximono Don't know, ask him. Our house sits on 2 acres, and the area he showed where the garden is, is much larger.
I don't if I have 20 years left in me..
I challenge anyone on Earth to dispute what I have said in my last post. ANYONE. I will be happy to discredit you.
Sounds pretty defensive to be dissing No-till farmers. Seems to me we're more alike than different.
the guy is no till and disses no-til... at least he can be part of the climate change crew tho!
To be fair, he dissed the purists. Whoever they may be, I'm not sure who he's referring to.
And then he said climate change.... 🤣
