"The first time I ever really listened to Kyle Kulinski’s show was in the back of a cab last summer. The driver had his phone hooked up through the stereo and was pumping out an episode through the car speakers - loudly, as if looking to convert a captive audience.
    “Do you like Kyle Kulinski?”
The driver, Ahmed, was a recent immigrant and apparently a die-hard fan of Secular Talk, the political talk show that Kulinski broadcasts on RUclips. I told him, yes, in fact. I do like Kulinski, had come across his show several years ago, and, all things considered, he seemed pretty good.
“He understands what we’re up against,” Ahmed said. “Like Bernie.”
But I was surprised to hear Kulinski’s name mentioned in the same breath as Bernie Sanders, particularly with such adoration. Because what I did remember about Kulinski’s show struck me as mostly capital-P “progressive” takes on the news - the left wing of the Netroots crowd more than the democratic socialism Sanders has popularized.
It’s an impression that wasn’t entirely incorrect.
“I have no time for philosophical, airy bullshit,” Kulinski tells me from his home in Westchester, New York. “I don’t want to hear about Lenin. I don’t want to hear about Marx. I just want a super plainspoken, straightforward agenda with a straightforward way of selling it.”
With over 800,000 subscribers and nearly 670 million total views on RUclips, selling a progressive agenda is clearly something Kulinski knows how to do - even Democracy Now, the long-standing flagship of progressive media, cannot match his reach on the platform. Chapo Trap House can certainly boast a wildly devoted fan base (and a not insignificant degree of media influence), but their audience is roughly half the size of Kulinski’s.
While Secular Talk might be more likely to be looped in with the progressive networks around Air America and Pacifica alums like Sam Seder than the more resolutely socialist world, Kulinski’s fiery rhetoric, razor-sharp class instincts, and knack for withering takedowns sets him apart from his peers. Judging by his rhetoric alone, he’s closer to a Eugene Debs than a Chris Hayes.
But unlike Hayes, Amy Goodman, or his friend Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks - who began airing Secular Talk on his web network seven years ago - the thirty-two-year-old Kulinski is virtually invisible in the mainstream media. Despite his enormous fan base, his show has never once been mentioned in the obligatory trend pieces on “the Millennial Left” pumped out by the prestige media. Nor has Kulinski’s name ever popped up at all in the New York Times, Vox, the New Yorker, New York Magazine, or the Washington Post, despite his leading role in cofounding Justice Democrats, the organization widely credited with sweeping Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of “the Squad” to power.
Just last week, his Wikipedia page was deleted. The reason? “There is very simply no [reliable source] coverage of this person,” according to one moderator. In new media, he’s king - the Sean Hannity of the Berniecrat left. In old media, he’s nobody.
I suspect there are a few reasons for that. There is nothing “cool” about Kulinski’s show. (As a friend put it, “‘Welcome to Secular Talk’ sounds like something you’d hear on Egyptian radio.”) His no-nonsense social-democratic politics won’t get him much cred with the Full Communism crowd. He records his show not in Brooklyn or Los Angeles, but in a studio he built himself in his modest Westchester home. His hair is too groomed and his taste in clothes too preppy to qualify as “Dirtbag Left.” Nor has he ever attended an n+1 release party. “Not only have I not attended one,” he says, “I have no idea what that means.”
And yet he’s astonishingly plugged-in for a young man in the suburbs. Wondering how Sanders ended up on the Joe Rogan Experience? Kulinski, a frequent guest on Rogan’s wildly popular show, introduced them. “You make the most sense to me,” Rogan told Kulinski on a recent episode. “You’re a normal person.”
Much like Sanders himself, Kulinski’s show has a massive audience that just doesn’t compute with our media’s understanding of “what the kids want” or even “what the left-wing kids want.”
It’s probably for the best - the very woke and very WASP-ish decorum haunting much of the media world is nowhere to be found in Secular Talk. “Corporate Democrats over-focus on identity as a trick to divert you from the issues that unite us all - class issues,” he said on a recent episode.

Shapiro is a Zionist Jew who believes that God created the Goyim aka the Gentiles aka the non-Jews for the service of the Jews. I mean it's not just a Zionist belief, it's a conservative/Orthodox Jewish belief and teaching. Mainstream Rabbis teach this to their students and community/congregation.

The nuclear bombings of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were never a military necessity. Japan was already practically defeated and were in the process of surrender negotiations with the Allies before the bombs were ever dropped. There navy and air force were almost entirely destroyed and its army was largely stranded in China and Japanese occupied Manchuria, plus a handful of islands that the U.S. and Western powers bypassed in the island hopping campaign of the Pacific. Dwight Eisenhower argued against it. Charles Nimitz, admiral of the entire US Pacific Fleet also was against it since Japan was under a full naval blockade and was basically being starved to death. Even Douglas MacArthur, the famous WW2 general who later wanted to use nuclear weapons in the Korean War against China, said it was not necessary and was against the decision to use nuclear weapons. The hypothetical invasion of the Japanese islands was still in the drawing boards stage and was months, if not a year away, from even becoming a possibility.
So why did the US them? The Cold War against the Soviet Union had already begun and there was large amounts of distrust on both sides about what each faction aimed to do once the Second World War ended (which was basically already decided by 1944). The United States dropped those bombs for three reasons:
    1) It served as a warning shot to the Soviet Union, unaware that Stalin already knew about the Manhattan Project.
    2) It also served as a testing site for this new, experimental weapon.
    3) Lastly, there was a large degree of racial animosity towards the Japanese for their surprise attack against Pearl Harbor and the numerous wartime atrocities that the Japanese military conducted before and during WW2.
Even after all these decades, Americans by and large, still refuse to come to terms with the realities of the past. Even now it remains one of the most taboo topics to even openly discuss in the US.

@@dclaet1135 Don't be so sure of that. Jacob Schiff and the Kuhn Loeb faction of New York Jewish bankers gave MILLIONS to Japan to build up their navy and military back in the late 1800's and early 1900's to fight Czar Nicholas and Orthodox Christian Russia, hoping to weaken them to the degree that their Bolsheviks would topple them soon after and turn the once devout Orthodox Christian nation (who they hated for the supposed "pogroms" which is another topic) into an atheistic internationalist Marxist power. Never forget that the likes of FDR and then Truman (the only world leader who recognized the terrorist state of Israel after the campaigns of the Irgun) were essentially puppets of Bernard Baruch, and Baruch's influence goes back to the Wilson years when FDR was the #2 man under the infamous Josephus Daniels (yes, THAT Josephus Daniels) who was Secretary Of The Navy, the same Navy that illegally armed civilian passenger ships for the British in 1915 and orchestrated the false war propaganda against Germany after the Lusitania ruse. All of this (in addition to the loads of money they made off of it) was so that the British could gain control of Ottoman Palestine and weirdo's like Edmond Rothschild and Chaim Weizmann could create some goofy idea of a thousand's years old "homeland" for the "persecuted Jews" of Christian Russia in the former Kingdom Of Poland.
In fact, there are many of well- versed people who said FDR intentionally moved the Naval base to Pearl Harbor in 1940 specifically so that Japan could attack some of the naval fleet there to get public and congressional support to join WW2, which FDR tried to sell to the American public (who wasn't buying it up till then) the idea of joining the European War since 1939.

*This is how you need to vote in November:*
We must fully resist and _always vote_ against (& less authoritarian than) both the Democratic *and* Republican Parties- including Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Rand Paul (He’s _no_ Ron Paul), Warren Davidson, Ron Johnson, and all other Republicans.
For _all_ public positions. And this same strategy applies against the same one or more party-monopolies in _all_ countries worldwide.
Real libertarians will never be Republicans or Republican loyalists. You can always _write-in_ an anti-authoritarian person if no candidates for a position fit that bill.
This will continuously reduce the power of _all_ authoritarian parties in the party monopolies. Until our task is complete.
Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge.

@@pill5384 I watched the whole video. I didn't say he didn't criticise Tucker, I said he gives him (and others) too much credit for arguing in good faith. Tucker has always been a disingenuous cu## who'll say whatever he thinks is useful to his career at any given moment. True to form, that's what he's doing right now. Critique the positions he's putting forth all you want, that's great. But when Kyle says (near the end of the video) that he won't hold his breath, "but hopefully that's an eye-opening moment for Tucker", he's once again speaking as though Tucker is expressing himself in good faith. He's not. He knows that he's participating in a movement with utter pieces of sh##. (Remember when his text messages saying that he despises Trump leaked? Now he's supporting Trump?) He knows who he's in bed with politically, and *he doesn't care,* because he's *just as much of a piece of sh##.*

Nagasaki is a major port. That's why it was targeted, along with its steel works, and also why it had a population of japanese catholics as it was the port through which portuguese missionaries arrived in previous centuries and established a catholic tradition in japan. Maybe japan could have been made to surrendur without nukes but there's an argument to be made that getting nuked and occupied by americans under douglas mccarthur is better than being invaded and occupied by russians under stalin.
