It’s disgusting that this teacher was sacked over this. This sets a dangerous precedent. Vast majority of this country are against this insane ideology of telling kids they’re born in the wrong gender. We need to speak up more.

Absolutely bonkers. As an ex teacher I stand with Josh. I too won't lie to children or bring politicical agenda or radical ideology which would lead to child mutilation and abuse.
My wife is a teacher, and hasn't come across this madness... yet. She is also a Christian (was a minister in Venezuela for nine years), and won't put up with any of this woke madness either. Schools are desperately short of staff as it is, keep up this insanity and we won't have an education system left.
As a teacher, you should be aware how important it is to be objective with students. This teacher told students that God can stop people from being gay, because being gay is wrong. No teacher should expect to stay on staff if they're found spouting such personal views that are likely to be painful for certain students.
Parents of said child should be ASHAMED that a man has lost his job AND CAREER over WORDS AND COMPELLED SPEECH no one should be forced to tell LIES

Seems like a good guy, the type we need in teaching. A man that has the beliefs that have been instilled in society for thousands of years is supposed to change because of a spurious change of ideas. A change, incidentally, that is not welcomed or supported by the bulk of the country/world. I hope the appeal court sees sense.

I lost a teaching job in March. I had said, "Morning Ladies" to two women. Some disagreeable little male (whom I later threw out the lesson for being disruptive to other learners) said, "Did you just assume their gender?" followed by other equivalent nonsense. We had a lot to be getting on with and after two additional attempts of his to disrupt the lesson I said, "Never mind all that. Besides, in my lessons we focus on what's actual, what's factual and what's real." Later that afternoon my line manager, a deceitful coward of a man, came into my lesson and asked all my learners to leave. He told me I was suspended immediately and that he would be walking me off site as I was a threat to young people. When he interviewed me he literally asked, "Did you or did you not make comments to the effect that you don't consider Gender Theory real?" I shit you not. The college have tried to smokescreen this and have tried to falsely insinuate that it was about other things. Even though on the day I asked my line manager and he said it was about this. Utter liars and cowards. Myerscough College in Preston btw. Do NOT send your kids there. Used to be a great place apparently. Certainly not anymore.

Absolute insanity, kids now how too many 'rights' and they're abusing it, while unknowingly destroying their futures. My wife is a teacher, and she said that a school near us lost 20 (yes twenty) teachers in one term! They all resigned due to being unable to enforce any sort of discipline. Going to be very difficult to recruit that many now the school's reputation is common knowledge!
