Nice vid Vanessa I use the manutec test kit regularly and I also use my pro grade ph pen from my hydroponics system, fish tanks and mix the soil with 50% distilled water to dbl check at times. I find the manutec to be fairly accurate and for me easier than having to clean my pen after the whole mixing process and then putting it in storage solution etc I think a drop or 2 more distilled water in the soil mix will help I stir until nearly a paste
Yes, my sample did look a bit drier than I usually work with. I’m glad to find someone else who likes to double check at times 🙌. Would you mind doing me a favour one day and doing your double check process on pure compost or pure worm castings? (That is, if your work, family, garden and chicken commitments enable any free time……..). I’d be interested in the results, even though plants aren’t usually planted into pure compost.
Very informative and interesting to see different types of PH testing kits. Thank you for making the video Vanessa.
Thanks Lien 🙂
Good to know 👍 Thanks for sharing 💛
Thanks 😊
