- They are alive and endgame after fighting two seasons straight and divorcing twice, I can't believe it. Of course we'll probably never know what the original plan for the finale would have been had they not had to stop filming during episode 19. Anyway, I'm happy considering the circumstances.
This show was so special, a prime time show with a fantastic all black cast. Every new character they introduced was a gift. Following the cast and crew on social media taught me a whole lot about the world I live in and made me face my own thought patterns too. I owe them a lot and will miss this show after having it in my life for 6 years.

Perfect couple ever. The truth is love isnt perfect even in real life, and the writers did a good job by portraying that. As the saying goes: Love doesn't need to be perfect but true. So, Cookie and Lucious loved each other truly in an imperfect way, and that is what made their relationship relatable. Relationship have ups and downs. We say extreme hurtful words to those we love when we feel hurt or dissapointed, but if we truly love them, we always works out our differences and make the relationship work again. Some consider Lucious and Cookie as an abusive relationship, but I bet to differ. First of all, if we ubderstand their background then we can easily understand why they have some of those deep issues and why they express themselved the way they do. Secondly, their love was not one sided, they all loved each other, and of there is one thing I have learned in life, we get easily hurt and dissapointed by those we love. Why? Because of the emotional attachment we have for them. If the things that Lucious and Cookie says to each other were to he said by the stranger, it wont hit the same because there is no emotional connection. So their relationship was a true reflection to reality. Of you are in a relationship that does not have any disagreements, pains or dissapointment, then maybe it airn't true., and I mean any kind of relationships. Even as families, we argue, we say regretable things and so forth, but at the end of the day we kiss and make up. The only thing O would say from Cookie amd Lucious relationship was they failed to tame their tongues in most cases, especially when they are angry. And their words had cut each other deep that sometimes it is just so hard to lool past those things said, but is that not what most of us are in real life? How many of us that when we are angry we say the extreme hurtful things to our loved ones just to regret them later when we are back to our senses? My point is, this show was a mirror for most of us, and if there is something that got stuck in my mind throughout the whole show, is to be careful of what I say especially out of anger. So fellas, we must learn to tame our tongues cos unlike Cookie amd Lucious, we might not get so many chances of correcting the damages our words done to our loved ones.

This is beautiful. I truly share your sentiments. I was not looking forward to them possibly being killed off. The finale could have been better but it gave me the one thing I wanted, which was Coocious reuniting. Thank you for capturing their on-screen journey.

It s a beautiful love story even the sadness and the pain but it s full of true love. I like both of them so much and will miss them . Thank you for uploading . U will miss jamal and hakeem a lot. And all the show and all actors and actreses were so amazing.

I'm glad to read your description here that you were happy despite the circumstances at how the show ended. 💛 this feels like a very .. Fitting song for after a finale, it has a "final" feel to it. The tone is very sweet but in a way that fits a couple that's been through so much.
Yeah, it all ended happily which was nice because they had been teasing their death all season. So I don't know if that was their plan for the finale lol. There was still some stuff I wanted to see and you could definitely tell they struggled to put the episode together but all in all I will choose to be happy with the result:D Thank you!

Empire enterprise was good while it lasted but the truth is it ate all of them alive. Maybe they could have just let it go at some point. Now that the show is over and I am rewinding all that they went through, Empire was the major cause of all their heartaches. Like when they lost it to Eddy's devices, maybe that was the time they could have just accepted that Empire is nolonger good for their wellbeing. They started LFM but somewhat went back to Empire again and everything started falling apart. Yes it is difficult for them to could have just let it go considering the time, effort and all sacrifices they made to build Empire, but what good thus it serve if it keeps causing you problems? Empire has been taking more from them since season 4 then what it gives them. So like what Jamal once said, Empire was nolonger wealth fighting for because its like a drug that kept eating them up. I am happy that at the end none of them died and they seems to came back together, but they could have lived happily for years should it not be for Empire. Looking back now, I hate that business so bad because it kept destroying that beautiful family, but hey if it wasn't for Empire Enterprise, Empire as a serie couldn't be this interesting. So its a bittersweet thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
