Married 42 years. Toured with many famous country music artists as well as other genre/artists /performers. The longest I had ever been away from my wife was 65 days, and that happened twice. I had spinal cord surgery and had to be in rehab for almost 2 months. It killed us both being apart for that long, even though we did get to see each other for a short time each day……or at least talk to each other, but I really, really missed him at night. He didn’t sleep too well alone, either.
