My Fitbit Sense bit the dust at the time they removed competitions and badges. Saw the Sense 2 didn’t have 3rd party app or music support…so I decided to go with a Garmin Fēnix 7 51mm. Liked it so much I just picked up the Venu 3 today from Best Buy as an ‘around the house’ and sleep/exercise watch. A few hours in I love this watch.
Very good video, its too bad it doesnt come with its own charger for its price point. Where does the USB C cable connect to on the watch for charging? Im actually very interested in this.
Yea 449 was pretty aggressive. The USBC side doesn't attach to the actual watch. That part would attach to the charging block. The other end (which I believe is no different than all other Garmin watches) attaches to the Venu.
@@therealsnackdoctor Thank you for your response, I was not sure if mine was a defective watch, it would push into my skin and hurt because of the circular nest where the sensor is housed.
I've just gone from Venu 1 to 3 and extremely happy. Tried a Forerunner 265 first but didn't like the very small fonts so sent it back. 👍
I didn't even know this about the forerunner. It has a bunch of minutia features but prob too much for a non runner like me

51 mm seems huge. I've only had these two Garmins. 24 hours into it tho and I really love it
That's a big move from Fitbit to Fenix.
@@CliffR huge step up! congrats

Does the back sensor push in to your skin a little bit to much?
It pushes in a decent amount. It leaves an imprint that goes away after being off for maybe 10 min or so

Great video
Thanks for the support. Review coming soon!
you're not getting fat because of the lacking features in your watch
Lol. I refuse to blame my dietary indiscretions 😂
Features which 99.9% of men will never ever think about, let alone use, in the real world
I winced when I saw him open the box
Lolol. I really suck at opening boxes. It basically ensures I can't return the item
