While it's out....why not replace everything in the evaporator box? Heater core and expansion stuff... It would save you a lot of trouble in the long run
Honestly it’s great to see a build and deal with not having a “budget less build”. It gives a good idea to the normal person how a real build goes. On my channel the 240Z build has taken a ton of time, but nothing was free and had to wait for things. 🤘🏻
Mickey it’s never dry content. It’s pretty interesting , and the length of detail 👌🏽is the cherry on top. All that tedious work is going make your rx7 amazing.
What most people find boring I find interesting things like this is what keeps cars on the street longer and I love how Mickey is very careful and tedious with his work great job on the FD can’t wait to see it done!
I really appreciate that you are filiming a process of the build that most people wouldn't because they think its dry content. Its really intriguing and shows just how in depth you are going with this build. Would have loved to see this kind of content when you were building tj's rx7 as well. Excited that you are filiming this content for the throtl chanel though
Micky, why not create a wish list somewhere online for parts needed? Seems like if people want to help out, that is one of the better ways to do it where people can just put in and help out where and when they can as opposed to a bunch of back and forth over IG DM.
leo garcia I’m guessing you’re not the only one. It’s pretty obvious that since Mickey has started the fd build evan has hardly done any videos, I’m assuming because mickeys are doing pretty well. Still waiting to see rick do some work on that Porsche that’s sitting there looking all lonely.
Dude, first saw your vid when you came across the RX7 in, what looked like, an alley. I've not missed a video since. Cannot wait to see the finished project. Keep up the awesome work fella
Mickey is one of the most well deserving person I've seen on many youtube channels. A very hard working man and always helping everyone. I hope my views contribute to helping mickey's dream rx7 come true.
Hey there Mickey.... Any content ya do is great content. No such thing as "dry Mickey content" in a vid; now Calvin....that's another story, lol. JK Calvin, love ya too😘 Putting in the new carpet might be a time consuming pain, but in the end....YOU'LL be SO SO happy that you changed it out. Well worth the time spent wrestling, cutting, & wrangling in the new carpet. Can't wait till get all interior finished, as it's gonna have the Mickey Spec Stamp of Approval! Looking forward till next time✌🏻️ Cheers, A👍🏻👍🏻
As a suggestion for anyone working on something like that hood latch full of build up and grease.... Coke... not the white stuff the bubbly liquid. Keep any electronic connectors out or remove, and let that just sit in a bowl of it. After an hour take it out rinse, and hit with some Dawn dish soap and vinegar. It really works, safe for the environment and does the job easy.
Mickey, I'm loving this series. Love the work you put in and your attitude. I wanted to support you guys, so I bought a 4G63 tee from your shop. These videos are an inspiration for me as my beloved old 2003 Evo 8 is in ROUGH shape and these vids are motivating me to start fixing it up, bit by bit. Keep up the great work!!!
Don’t worry bout the budget because in real world scenarios we don’t have unlimited funds to do that. Just do u and the ones who r here for your knowledge and personality will still be here
i gotta be honest i follow alot of people on RUclips and mickey you are by far my favorite person to watch, i look forward to you coming out with new vids....the knowledge and attention to detail is awesome, keep grinding bro cant wait to see the finished product, shout out from hawaii much love and aloha🤙🤙🤙
Hey Mickey, Build looks rad so far. For all those little bits and pieces, like old bolts, nuts, or even hood lock mechanisms, you should look into buying an ultrasonic cleaner. I use mine for tons of stuff on my car and it really speeds up the process of cleaning and removing rust, while I’m working away on my build in a given day. Just a recommendation. Keep up the good work!
I started tuning in more in your RX7 build cause the way you actually do stuff. You just don’t bolt in parts and take things you put in the car. They’re not expensive but its sick
What's up I think you are doing great your building the car like most people wood do it little by little I think it's going pretty Quickly keep it up don't worry about what people are saying they are gust jealous have a good one
seriously love the build threads Mickey! honestly, I think your knowledge and experience in cars you can make more money else where than with TJ and throtl...just my honest opinion
I follpw you guys because watching tj put it the rest of the money for you says a lot about yall. I have to follow someone like that. Wish i could live a life like this. Ive been thinking about just picking up and leaving Connecticut. Time to shake shit up
Hey man its nice to see a realistic kind of build and not some car with 200000 dollars worth of parts into it. Dont worry about the audience because it's your build.

While it's out....why not replace everything in the evaporator box?

Mike DeHaven the difference of throttl and TJ

I agree dude this is so helpful
Micky, why not create a wish list somewhere online for parts needed? Seems like if people want to help out, that is one of the better ways to do it where people can just put in and help out where and when they can as opposed to a bunch of back and forth over IG DM.
You don’t have dry content mickey! In all honesty...I mainly watch throtl when I see a new FD video uploaded..
leo garcia I’m guessing you’re not the only one.
It’s pretty obvious that since Mickey has started the fd build evan has hardly done any videos, I’m assuming because mickeys are doing pretty well.
Still waiting to see rick do some work on that Porsche that’s sitting there looking all lonely.
I definitely wish Mickey had his own channel for the FD and any other cars.. He’s really the only reason I subbed to Throtl.....😅
More rx7!!! great content btw!
Dude, first saw your vid when you came across the RX7 in, what looked like, an alley. I've not missed a video since. Cannot wait to see the finished project. Keep up the awesome work fella
These rx7 videos define the saying mickey specs , all the little details most people would skip down to the smallest details. Love it
Similar to all the other comments, I love how this is a realistic build. It’s alot more relatable. Keep it up!
New favorite build series on RUclips
That pause before he says "budgetless builds", you know he wanted to say TJ :P
Yes more rx7 !!!!!!!!
No worries bro. I'm here to see YOUR build of the FD. Loving it.
Mickey is one of the most well deserving person I've seen on many youtube channels. A very hard working man and always helping everyone. I hope my views contribute to helping mickey's dream rx7 come true.
Thanks for your support Aiden!

its not dry content, I love seeing this kind of work :)
Good to see the father and son build...great work keep it up
Your dad is the cutest thing ever!!🙌🏻🙏 reminds me of my dad🙏
Your attention to detail is what will make the car shine. I just hope that videos get put out for everything that's done to the FD.
I appreciate the “dry content” because most of the time it shows how important the little things are in making a car look and feel new again.
Watching ads till end no skips, just for better parts
I actually like that your reselling parts and using your own funds. Keep up the good work
The only way I know how brother.
Loving the content Mickey! This has to be my favorite follow right now. Definitely looking forward to this build process.
A major part of my day has become watching the update videos on the FD, it's coming together Mickey! Can't wait to see it on the road
Best part building your platform ground up doing it all yourself. FD is such a good project. Looking forward to seeing next episode.
*I'm waiting for the day that you and Teej are rolling side by side in monster FDs!!!*

I'm jealous that you have such a cool dad. Making good progress on the tedious stuff.
Appreciate watching this build wosh o was there to help as well. Awesome hobby i wish i could get into
I used to think I was super picky with how I worked on my car, but Mickey spec is on an entire different level. That’s the standard from now on

Loving the attention to detail
Mickey has a specific type of following that we all love your vids. No matter what it is. Teach us the Mickey way!
Love these type of videos
Dude. You’re the best. At least you’re not like some people... you do everything yourself and you do it the right way! Keep it up!
Don’t worry bout the budget because in real world scenarios we don’t have unlimited funds to do that. Just do u and the ones who r here for your knowledge and personality will still be here

The joys of having a shop next to the coaster station.
And a naval base (F18s and Ospreys galore) and a freeway.........
I started tuning in more in your RX7 build cause the way you actually do stuff. You just don’t bolt in parts and take things you put in the car. They’re not expensive but its sick
This car finna be 🔥🔥🔥
Great content. I love this fd build
Your build is going faster than Teej's never ending build.
Easy..... I did that build.
Hey, guys let's donate to mickey's build. Buy parts for him to help his build out.How cool would it be to see Mickey use those parts on his car.
Thanks for your support!
This message is Mickey Spec approved.
What's up I think you are doing great your building the car like most people wood do it little by little I think it's going pretty Quickly keep it up don't worry about what people are saying they are gust jealous have a good one
Good to see this being a normal guy build and not a rich youtuber build😂keep doing your thing mick love your content buddy
Really like that you are technically bound with the build the work you put in shows in the end 😎👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎
It’s becoming Mickey spec nice job on the restore
Great video Mickey! Keep up the great work
Building on a budget is more entertaining than just throwing all your money into your project
Couldn't agree more. Unfortunately on the "RUclips" timeline it often leads to cut corners. I am attempting to not do that.
Best way to build a car is with you're dad and beer's.
Check and check!
Mickey, you are a god ! these vids are so fun to watch! and i've learned a ton ! keep up the great work.
I'm digging this series, thanks for sharing the #mickeyspec life.
6:16. LOL. Love real people Mickey Spec
Love this stuff. Great video.
The big box home improvement stores sell a product similar to DynaMat for allot less. Just a heads up. Frost King??
Yea, its all good. Not needed for this portion of the build.
Officially subbed lol. Mick’s voice puts me to sleep at night
😆 a train/plain and helicopter at same time 😂
My luck bro. :-)
Love your vids and your rx7 honestly my favorite car.
Great work Mikey thanks for the content. Did you spray down that foam insert before reinstalling it?
seriously love the build threads Mickey! honestly, I think your knowledge and experience in cars you can make more money else where than with TJ and throtl...just my honest opinion
Great job!! Love the content!!
I follpw you guys because watching tj put it the rest of the money for you says a lot about yall. I have to follow someone like that. Wish i could live a life like this. Ive been thinking about just picking up and leaving Connecticut. Time to shake shit up

Bro I can't wait to see this thing done.keep grinding
Honestly I think I'd watch tutorials of you unbolting door panels just for the little things and details you always teach us lol
mickeyyyy the goat back at it with another video
In my 66 it had so much water in the floor boards. The previous owner drilled holes everywhere to keep it drained lol.
Hey man its nice to see a realistic kind of build and not some car with 200000 dollars worth of parts into it. Dont worry about the audience because it's your build.
