It's meant for pugs to use so they will not get dc bombed back to the shadow realm. Most pvp groups have good healers and the players themselves to counter dc bomb plays. If you play solo and consider yourself decent you will not use this either as you will know not to stand next to pugs under 30k hp near choke points. And bombers don't target solo anyways.
I tested this and played it all night... duels, 1vx, and in open field zerg vs zerg on a stam necro. The self healing debuff isnt really that bad a slight change to standard build was all that was needed. Even at full self stacks i still have positive healing. This set is super oppressive. It is good. Really good. I completely disagree with this video. Disclaimer i love your vids and usualy agree with what you post but i cant this time.
Looking at the patch notes and these new pvp sets... It's becoming more and more evident that the devs DO NOT play in pvp at all. It's almost comical to see what they came up with lol

Our one most effective counter to ball groups and they are trying to counter it... Makes no sense
2nd set gives the shield when you are beaten. Like templar hits you with javelin+meteor combo. You will get a shield, when javelin hit you. It is NOT when you throu a javelin or streak

I have no context on dragonknight, but the nightblade changes provided just about zero actual buff to my actual damage, it just made things slightly easier for people who can't maintain a rotation.
The healing debuff set is made for ball groups imo. Most ball groups dont run purge still bc they stack hard as hell and one dumbass hits purge with plague on pop goes the ball group.

This set not being oppressive is only true if everyone is running one or both of those sets. I've gotten myself a full set of both sets cuz it's the only way to be properly protected.

Well for CP FOR CP you are correct. but battle grounds and dare i say "no cp cyrodiil/IC" might be a good set ;p. EDIT: that being said if this set works in NO cp Cyrodiil it might be the final nail in the coffin for no cp.
I don’t think you tested it fully you can’t cleanse all 35 stacks at once without cleansing revival it is actually extremely strong you should retest. If you pair on dk w daedrick bb and focused mending Cp I doubt you will feel that healing debuff at all lol.

Nahhh sadly not you can cleanse all you want monster helm is straight re applied instantly 😂 so the monster helm healing reduction + battle spirit + major defile + minor defile ….best have healer with you 24/7 Welcome to the new meta 😂

U just see so much good players play with it what makes it so sad cause it is cheap af... They pew pew and oneshot noobs out of cloak and instantly cloak again, like in 0.7sec or something... First it is a Snipe + Winterborn proc -> then barswap Crush on destro staff + proc... and instantly cloak again... Deathlist shows 2x Snipe 1x Winterborn 2x Crush et cetera... in 0.7sec ! LMFAO !!! Who coded that script? An idiot? It is the most obvious cheat i ever saw! Haha... Why that dude coding that crap did not think about it? And maybe hide it better? He crazy? btw i guess warchief set is a meta together with snake in skies and plaguebreak but just vs. ballgroups... they dont clean that much cause they afraid of getting plague bombed by a dk on corrosive... maybe 4 that special but complex case it is quite op 4 a ballhunting and advanced bomber...
i guess u simply cast it by breaching a single target inside the ball with elemental drain cause its dmg will build the stacks up and the breach will infect with snake... u just follow the ball on vamp4 sprint and wait for a cleanse or for a weak situation when others ultidump on ball and u cast corrosive...
i guess balls dont even have cleanse with em nowadays as they rely on overhealing everything... 35% less heal + snake in skies can hurt if u add more by minor and major defile and heal absorption by poison cause snake scales per tick and it doesnt matter how much healing inc... the less healing inc the better the dmg cause vigor tick stays same...

Yeah it’s one of those sets that sound really good on paper but it just doesn’t work well in practice.
Maras w mountain warchief w the %damage reduction tree will making you tanky an able to purge all w ever.
