Samsung Australia gave me $150 eVoucher for purchasing the S24 Ultra 1TB. I used the eVoucher to get $150 off the Tab S9 Ultra 1TB tablet. I also purchased the 45W power adapter for the tablet. I paid using PayPal. Total amount was $5,267 (Australian dollars). Arriving on 30th at our house. Gonna have to look on our outdoor home security cameras to make sure no one steals the items.
I upgraded from my S22 Ultra. Took several attempts, but my order finally went through. Got $650 trade in value. I think that's worth it.

seems like a great phone but considering I got a Pixel 8 Pro I'll be waiting for the S25U (and I am for sure switching back to Smasung). I really like the screen on this phone being less reflective. It's strange that this is only just coming out now when anti-glare screen protectors have been around for like 15yrs.

Could you answer something for me? Why is Samsung not making SD card slots anymore? I mean, they in-house develop their own SD cards that can go up to half a TB, and some with built-in security features. However, they don't add the option to utilize it. I just see it as a waste. Why not use it?
Because this way they can charge you a lot of money for the higher storage capacity models. A 1TB microSD card costs around USD 100, but Samsung will charge you probably USD 500 extra or more for a 1TB internal capacity S24U.
I like your unboxing because you show the phone laying flat, so it's easy to see. Other unboxing RUclipsr kept on recording their face and moving the phone around in their hand making me dizzy because I'm just trying to see the phone in all it's glory.
just bought my wife the s23 ultra and I picked up the z fold 5 so it will be a couple years before I upgrade. this new one is looking good

I think this is the first time that they have had a gray color Ultra or Note that wasn't one of the special online only models. I snatched this right up in the T-Mobile variant.

I was looking at the animations of one ui 6.1 😮 look great. Hoping samsung to bring most of its AI features to S23 series as well as they are not increasing the software update cycle, still giving 4 years of OS. But 7 years on s24 series just amazing.

@@YankeesGiants The 7 years of software updates are a big reason to extend the phone's life cycle. Many people change phones every year but also a lot of people prefer to buy a flagship phone and use it for 5 years, rather than buying something cheaper and change it every 1 or 2 years.

My bro s21 series appears green line last year. Most my friends Samsung 20th - 23rd series phone have green line. My note 20 ultra have green line. I fear to upgrade to s24 ultra. I appreciate sakitech talk abo this

It ain't worth going from the s23 ultra to the s24 ultra ai is ok but I'm not convinced it's worth going over.
the s24 ultra has the transcription features but how will an older phone regardless of it being an iphone or android. The older phones won't have the transcription features. An if an older phone start a conversation not having that feature

I swore that I was going to keep my S23 Ultra and not upgrade but, the 750 trade-in, free memory/storage upgrade, accessory credit, flat screen, and 7 year software support made me change my mind.

Great content. The phone looks nice. I hope the titanium frame is better than the 15pro maxes titanium. Apple only put 2 bucks worth of titanium into their frame. As for the 24 ultras, 2,600 nits of brightness will it cause burn in on the home screen being that its so bright 🤔, only one RUclipsr talked about a hidden fee on the samsung website, in the fine print, that starting in 2025, whoever has a s24 ultra will have to pay for the AI🤨, IT could be a one time payment, or a monthly subscription. The Google Pixel 8pro doesn't charge for their AI. Why should samsung 🤨. I think you should, as a loyal watcher of your channel, let your subscribers know this. Unless you think samsung will come down hard on you. Then I wouldn't do it.

Honestly, I got an S23 Ultra, and I wish I hadn't.... I swapped it for a Flip 5 and I will NEVER go back. Sure, if you really "need" the big screen, and super cameras, okay.
But if you want to have an actual PHONE which can still do everything else well enough, then get the Flip. It's SO NICE to have a small phone, also protected fully with a case and screen protectors, hard for the outside and a film for inside, unlike the Ultra which man thank goodness I got the best hard screen protector and case for it, cause that screen was beat up, and the S23 design was bad with the "edges" of the phone sticking out. Thank goodness I had good protective crap on the phone or I wouldn't have been able to trade it in. I'm just made I wasted so much money getting it, when I should have got the Flip all along. :(
Also dude, you spent a million years on the BACK, but then spend ZERO TIME showing us the "Front", and instead show us some of the OS.

I don't think it's enough to trade in my S23 Ultra I think Samsung and others should upgrade every 2 or 3 years. I think they will make more money that way. They Know it's people out there who are crazy enough to trade or buy every year, not me this time around, staying with 23 ultras.
Nope I did that last year and they gave the s22u everything I got on the s23. Now I will wait to see what the updates for the s23 have and go from there.

I've got the 23 ultra. It doesn't appear to be worthwhile upgrading. I almost pulled the trigger on upgrading today but stopped myself.

My s10 plus is still rocking but it's battery is starting to lose capacity.
I loved my S10+!!! Best phone Samsung made pound for pound! But the S23Ultra and now this S24Ultra will most definitely be a more than worthy upgrade!!! Battery life is GREAT!!!

I actually find the colors disappointing this year. I miss my mystic bronze of my note 20 ultra to be honest. The violet is a bit interesting, but i've seen it in some lights in some videos where it looks like a really cheap purple. I usually put a case on so it's not critical but I do miss being able to look at my phone and think. Oh, that looks really pretty. My 23Ultra is green. Years ago I was exclusively a black phone person. I think it was easier l o l.
