For any of these fans who say that we should fire Jerod Mayo, you should really change fan bases. It’s his first year as a Head Coach. But most importantly he is trying to rebuild this team. If you say he is unfit to be a head coach. Then you are saying that Dan Campbell and Demeco Ryan’s are unfit to be a head coach. Let’s not forget when Dan Campbell was head coach his first two years that the Detroit lions were one of the worst teams in the league. But year three he made it to the playoffs! The same goes with Demeco Ryan’s. When he became Head coach, he was bad year one. But he addressed the holes that needed to be fixed. He fixed them and he made it to the playoffs last year! He also made a splash signing this off season beefing up his offensive and defense. So give Jerod Mayo some time, it’s his first year as a head coach. I think this off season and upcoming draft that offensive line seriously needs to be addressed. Also Jakobi has been taking such nasty hits every game. Him being able to get back up from them is crazy. I’d rather preserve Drake Maye and have a bad season. Than send him out to the wolves and have him under constant duress, or worst case scenario get injured.

Contrary to popular belief, other teams are allowed to have good players, future hall of famers, and play well. Aaron looked great, their defense made some good plays, they had some success in the running game. We were lucky this was an 11 point game at halftime. We were lucky they didn't drop 40 points on us. I'm way more frustrated with our Defense than I expected to be, but they also were forced to spend so much time out there because we couldn't assemble Offensive drives, so eventually the other team will rack up a score on you. We might just have to accept that our O-line will be bad all year, and we'll see more games of THREE holding penalties in a row... But remember, we're rebuilding, and there's plenty of teams way better than us who've started off 1-2 in the last few years. Let's just hope we stay healthy and continue to gel as a team under Mayo, and that all the rookies and folks playing different positions continue to grow. Go Pats.
Dont fire jerod mayo this man is highly intelligent and is a former player... The players on this team believe in him to turn this franchise around and sending drake out there with no offense line is crazy.. Not to mention we dont have premium recievers either,

The loss was kinda what was expected going up against a team that can shut down the pats run game. Teams with good d lines are gonna be extremely tough for the pats to move the ball on they are a slow offense. No explosive playmakers.
This is a complete team rebuild. I have said before we would be back into the top 5 in the draft this year. It will take 2 to 5 years to get back to being competitive. We have no #1 wide out. We have a Oline that cannot give the QB more than 2 seconds to throw the ball. If they start Drake would get hurt!!!!!!
We also had a brand new lineman playing his first game ever at LT who has never played that position. We need big help at our line. Defense could’ve been better but they are still really good to me

My biggest issue from last night. Is the team has nothing to put their flag on. Defense was supposed to be a strength, there was no defense last night, run first team… didn’t run and cldnt block on oline at all. This looked like we were playing in the preseason

the pats have got to get something for the oline be it trades or free agents. the fact that brissett could get hurt any day now and we would throw drake maye behind that line will ruin his career. even just a temporary fix for this season. draft a left and right tackle early in the draft next year. Maybe get both of the guys from LSU, have them start on the outside and have strange, andrews, and onwenu on the inside
If the New England Patriots lose the next two games Jerrod Mayb needs to be terminated. He looks absolutely clueless out there. And the team didn't look prepared mentally or physically. The Jets did bring it.
Clown take. Even teams who are stacked with talent and start off 1-4 don't usually fire their HC's. No one enjoys losing streaks, but there's a lot of moving parts to a successful football franchise, it takes time. Of course you can have a "time limit" on players and coaches, but it's not usually Game 5 of their career.

Playbook needs to not be for a pocket QB , nothing under center. Use TE to pass block DE prior to going out for a route a lot of those 4 man rushes a dump off pass would’ve help get out of that situation

This isn't that new of a thing. Brady also had terrible o lines, especially the last 3 seasons he spent with New England. There were always swaps between players every game as for who was starting at certain positions
They'll all be gone by 2026, Offensive Coaches will all be replaced at the end of the year. The Pats will reset the rebuild again in 2026. This team will be terrible for several decades, as this organization was in the 80s and 90s. What this team was able to do, located were this team is the past 20 years was extremely special and will neve be replicated.

AAAAAAAA!! No idea where they can get OL help now. OL has to be top priority of FA and draft. Screw chasing skilled players. No OL means non-competitive.
They have to get better players for the offense and defensive line. they have to get better players to protect the quarterback, that he doesn't get sacked.
