I don't think reluctance to delegate is always about control issues. It can also be because you actually love doing the thing. Delegation makes sense if you care about the "result", but if your source of satisfaction is actually from the doing, not from the result, there's no way you can delegate that.
Alright, take 15 minutes to beat yourself up and when the times up forgive yourself and then continue moving forward, getting better, and getting more out of life.
25:00 Hmmmmm. Coincidence? Actually all joking aside, this man is a fantastic speaker and makes excellent points. Take care of yourself first; once you've got your house in order, that spread the wealth of knowledge to others.
I can’t believe Scott Haselman to be this cool!!!!
Also that you invest yourself time in this valuable way!!!
A fantastic talk by Scott Hanselman.

I think the marshmallow experiment doesn't hold up when you control for other factors (like parents' wealth)

Oh my god... He don't know Red Dwarf
Hehehe. Yeah I'm also surprised.
It proves his “tv isn’t important to him” speech though...! ;-)
The marshmallow test doesn't test the willpower of 5-year-olds, it tests how much they can trust the words of adults.
Russ Hanneman is that you?
First minute of the talk he’s already optimizing: Defragmenting seats and scaling COVID!
There was no COVID in the middle of 2019 :)
