    You weren’t kidding! Those potatoes sure were loaded! They seemed never ending!
    Definitely one of the larger challenges. Personally, I think restaurants should try to be consistent with food challenges. But I guess you can’t help the size of a potato, and you said Spud Shack are good at what they do.
    Great job getting through as much as you did, and better luck next time 🙂

    • @OldGuyEats
      @OldGuyEats  8 месяцев назад +1

      I think consistency is important for the challenge he’s as well. They may not be able to control the variability of size of the potatoes, but they can weigh out 3 lbs of potato for the challenge. At least it tasted great! Thanks 👍

    • @OldGuyEats
      @OldGuyEats  8 месяцев назад

      The potatoes retained their heat which is what was hot; no spice. It tasted great, but now that you say that, I think I would have liked a little spicy heat on it. In the end, it didn’t matter how much time I had, I couldn’t finish it. Thanks!

    Soon as i seen those potatoes on that tray I'm thinking 600-800g each, then they load those toppings on and double the weight.... The challenge states "3lb potato" not 3 - 1lb potatoes... I think each potato is supposed to be 3lbs after all the fixing on it and you just did 3x challenges... so you should get two for free, but then again i guess you only paid once, on the one you never ate. so break even... lol
    My guess is that kid screwed up and served you 3 challenges at once.

    • @OldGuyEats
      @OldGuyEats  8 месяцев назад

      That’s a good thought. I like your thinking. Unfortunately, I have seen a few people try and it looked like they all got 3 potatoes. I was expecting 3, just not that size.
