Your a mechanic? ME TOO! and im glad of it bc i have been able to keep right on working thru the covid bs. Lights look awesome and i want some for my trx blazer.
Looks great! VIEWERS SHOULD KNOW that the video makes the lights look a bit blown out... in-person, the lights are perfect & have much more definition to them. I’ve got 2 light kits, as well! 👍👍🇺🇸
Seriously. There is a tow hook and object unknown there now on the 1:1 www.mercedes-benz.com/en/innovation/vehicle-development/the-automotive-declaration-of-independence/
Got to hand it to Traxxas, they make an excellent light kit. Got the full kit for my Trx4 defender when they 1st came out.. the fit, finish and quality is great. Nice use of the extra lights in your trx6. Cheers mate 👍
Looks awesome bro, crawling course and truck, am jealous.. :) I'm a mechanic to and i personally know the important's of a healthy pear of legs for this kind of a job.
Plug & Play! That is why I waited to put lights on my Gen 8. I knew they would have their own kit eventually because it came with the clips for the lights! Awesome! Looks great with all the lights! I went to school to be a Motorcycle and Powersport mechanic! Never got my licence though, developed hand problems and couldn't keep up shop speed due to hand pain.
I bought an aftermarket kit from SY-RC with the correct number of lights for the TRX6. But I like the way you think, with the two kits. And you did not spoil the scale intercoolers on the G63's outer lower bumper. Looks great, and not just because the rock lights have a glow that is unmatched by typical RC LEDs.
The VERY limited number of GL600 6X6s produced by MB are mostly 'Mall-Crawlers' for oil sheiks and valued at around $1million per copy. Therefore It would NOT be a blasphemy to now install some anodized aluminum jewelry to the portals and such, clean and Armorall your chassis, and then strictly avoid mud(at least with this rig).
@@ExocagedRC I have a certain affinity for white. A very practical, easy to live with color. Boo-boos don't show near as readily no matter what the 'scale'.
Nice crawl lights! Check out MyTrickRC Attack kits. They’re easy to customize and a lot easier on the wallet than Traxxas kits. Their DG-1 controller can plug straight into a 3S pack and power up 40 high power LEDs. I have 16 on my Bomber and they’re freakin’ blinding!
Great Light kit. Can you please discuss how you wired the traxxas light kit into the hobbywing esc? I believe you had to solder the JST power wire from the traxxas esc into the hobbywing battery power wires? Could you show that?
Do you wrench at a dealership or independent shop? I’ve been with Toyota for 15 years! I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy wrenching on these RCs when I got into the hobby about 6 months ago.
A question, I want to make my own skid plates( can't find any for my cr12 Tioga ) should I use thin sheet of steel or aluminum and which is easier to use with hand tools? I do have some machine shop access where I work ( drill press, chopsaw, ect )
I got my hobby wing brushless system but I realized theres no JST connector coming out of it, so my lights module isn't working, how can I solve this? Sick set up dude !
By far the best lit up TRX6 IMO👍👍 Great job👌
Night time trail runs are awesome to do and extra rig lights are a must

It's all about the lights and driver figures now for me. This look cool now. I bet it looks awesome in person. I like your video.
cool man, this one is about to be converted into a comp 6wd so these lights are coming off and I plan to replace with a new trx6 at some point
@@ExocagedRC You using the Traxxas radio in this?
That is a great idea, more light for your dollar. Those two in the front looks like they should have been there for the factory. 👍👍

That's pretty awesome , I may have to add some lights to sum of my rigs
I love night runs with my bronco!
LET THERE BE LIGHT ! Cool video.

And a healthy pair of eyes: wear yellow or clear specs when walking the trails at night, to avoid injury.
That's awesome, nice touch with the extra lights

I have a kit for the Gen8 I haven’t put it yet. Maybe one day.
kool I need lights too ,thank you for the show

Nice lights I like the body laying on the rocks towards the end lol
That looks great for a traxxas truck. Just an idea for the night course get those led light strips for the paths you need to walk on
Good idea
Thanks to you I have done this mod and am very happy with the results. You could have easily just used a drill to get a circular hole on the bumper.
hmmmm, for some reason why didn't I just drill it? I have no idea but when I get a new TRX6 I'll drill them.
What your trx-6 needs is a hepa filtration system.
Glad I can help!😁
Like a kid in a candy store. LOL Have fun my friend

LoL I’ve already messed this body up. I may get a white replacement in the future.

17 lights would’ve made A WORLD of difference.
😂😂
A Google UserIl Hahahaha Good one!
"This goes to 17. No, really..."
I would have liked to see a close-up of how you mounted and aligned the front rock lights through the body.
Nice!!!
Impressive

Yeah that’s all I did. I wish we could post pics in here. But yep, a JST to the battery tabs right on top of the esc battery terminals
Was going to ask this same thing. Wasnt sure if the controller could handle 11.1v
@@ExocagedRC thank you for your prompt response. Keep up the great content.

I work for a factory in Jacksonville. I work on forklifts, electric pallet jacks exhaust fans air handlers and all kinds of things.

Solder in a JST from the esc power in terminals. You’ll have what you need with that.
Any benefit to using the external BEC when the built-in BEC is more than sufficient in the Axe system?
Well, not really unless you constantly stress out the servos. If you are stalling them a lot I’d use an external bec for reliability sake.
Do you have 6 of those Pitbull or Hyrax tires (1.9) to try on this beast (TRX-6)?
I don’t.
When's the first night competition
No idea but when summer comes around it may happen
